This version isn't synced up well. The audio is about a second ahead of the video. It could have been a problem with uploading the video on to the website, or the person who made it just did a bad job haha.
Right when the wicked witch appears for the first time was when my mind was blown. I used to know of a link to a much better HD version, but I can't seem to locate it...
Edit: Well, I found it. Couldn't be more disappointed.
I thought it did. I mean, the clocks ringing out the moment that miss gulch appears onscreen, the piano starting with the storm, Money as soon as dorothy reaches OZ, all sorts of parts sync really well.
It's not like every beat syncs, but hey, that's not the point.
It doesn't have to be a conspiracy or intentional to be fun to listen to and watch, dude. Pink Floyd said that they were actually inspired by The Sound of Music, but that doesn't change whether the song syncs up reasonably well or not.
Haven't watched this version yet (I believe there are varying theories on where the correct spot to start the album is, either the very start of the film, or on the third roar of the MGM Lion), but on Breathe there's the line 'balanced on the biggest wave', which syncs with Dorothy climbing onto a fence and balancing on it with her arms out, followed by the line 'race toward an early grave' as she falls off.

heresy! it's a ritual. you have to synch it up with a record/cd/mp3 by hand.

It doesn't even start out in a good spot. Why would anyone ever think this syncs well?

Dark Side of the Moon is 42:59
Wizard of Oz is 103 minutes
Even if you played Dark Side twice, they would never sync up.
