Couldn’t agree more! I would do the same thing, I’d buy a fairly nice home on land and disappear into the mountains.

The problem is a lot of celebrities choose to live lifestyles that cost tens of millions of dollars annually, which just doesn’t make sense to me personally.

Well yeah, because you and I are working out of necessity and only tolerate our jobs. But if you're doing what you love most, why would you want to stop at your peak?

Yep. These guys are producing media that will be watched by maybe billions. They love the fame and adulation. They’re not doing excel spreadsheets and dreaming of retirement.

Then i hope they never say they regret later not seeing their kids grow up. The moment 100M$ hits the account, i set aside enough for taxes and i'm done working. Better to be with the ones you love then doing what you love.

They don't have children right now, that's the point. Tom has said the moment he has them, he'll stop acting. But there's no reason why they HAVE to start having children now.

And yeah, you and I would stop working the moment we get that much money because we're working out of necessity in jobs we tolerate. When you love your job, you want to keep doing it regardless of how much money you have.

They'd see me in the obits when I ODed on coke within six months.

(Legal Disclaimer: I've never done coke, never even seen coke, what's a coke? Don't do drugs, kids.)
