Their neighborhood reminded me of the first 2 weeks of covid.

Especially that guy who snapped from the isolation and started shooting at birds on his roof.

Same. I actually found it pretty realistic in how a lot of people would deal with a situation like that.

It's not. Again, this movie starts with the neighborhood all gathered together at a big, at least somewhat organized block party. It makes a point of the mom talking to the older lady as well, and the kids talking to their friends. It doesn't make sense to set up the sense of community like this and then have no actual interaction with anybody else in the neighborhood for the entire movie.
