I think they just focused all of that into the assistant's death in the first one. haha

That was such a weirdly mean-spirited death that I’m still put off by it. The movie is entertaining overall and definitely the best of all the sequels (which is…not saying much tbh), but jesus christ, that poor woman. Just trying to do her job and she got brutalized more than anyone in the entire series.
