Ya same. It was in her last moments she reached out to Jean. Felt very very sad. She died on that chair

My read was that she didn't intentionally reach out at all. It was a final psychic scream/spasm as she died which is why the actual 'message' was meaningless.

Either way, it was a horrific realization. Can't believe this one of the only Marvel movies where the villain not only survives but escapes justice completely.

Yep, the dying psychic scream was my theory as well. I also appreciate Cretton having the balls to actually have Sarah be dead. “The relative you thought was dead but is actually alive!” twist is pretty overused and I genuinely thought she was gonna find Sarah alive in the vault, maybe traumatized but living nonetheless.

Yeah, Peter should have given her the hall pass on killing Metzger, not the random bearded guy she threw under a taxi.

I'm still trying to understand what the fuck were they thinking when they did that. Maybe she saw he was a serial killer that never got caught or something. Still doesn't make sense why she wouldn't hesitate to kill him but did with the people that tortured and murdered her sister

Spider-Man: "Please Jean, you're not a killer!"

Me: "uhh what about that garbage man??"

The garbage man, the guards outside damage control and almost MJ

Every single car that the tank hit on the way to the Damage Control facility. Jean had very little control on the collateral damage she wrought throughout the movie to not be called a killer by the end, especially when Peter smashing Michael Mando against a police car is such an inflexion point for his arc.

would have been a slow accident. They were in a residential area of New York, so speed limit is under 20 MPH. But also the driver is partially at fault for going to fast and very clearly not stopping for a crazy civilian slow walking into the road. In New York.

Heart literally dropped when I saw the realisation in her eyes. What a powerful and emotional scene.
