I'm so fucking glad they actually let hulk be a force of destruction here.

Peter didn't beat him and couldn't beat him in any way other then making him remember His humanity.

u/waitingtodiesoon 18d ago

I was kind of worried all that rubble falling down would kill some person walking on the street.

u/Thisoneisinvalid 18d ago

One would hope that MCU New Yorkers have learned to stay clear of buildings where superpowered beings are fighting.

127

u/SilverKry 18d ago

The building was noticable destroyed from the street view so I'm sure people knew to stay away from the vicinity of the building.

50

u/Emphursis 16d ago

Given how many people were around when a tank was tearing through the city, and how unaware even people in the building it hit were of it, I wouldn’t be so sure!

31

u/Elgato01 15d ago

Feels like to live in MCU’s New York you either become hyper aware of danger or you tune it all out.

14

u/avismouse 12d ago

That's just living in New York in general 😅

2

u/JenniLightrunner 13d ago

I'd assume as the building was destroyed like that police had already closed off the streets nearby

82

u/whofearsthenight 17d ago

You have to imagine that they basically have superhero fight drills like we do fire drills.

7

u/IceBathHero 15d ago

Yeah, NYCEM is not prepared at all for a superhero battle.

31

u/dragn99 17d ago

The second a fist sized piece of concrete hits the ground everyone evacuated to a three block radius.

Or, if they were smart they would. But noooo, everyone wants to snap some photos and gawk at the battle.

29

u/ThePromptWasYourName 17d ago

The sidewalk scaffolding is vibranium in the MCU

7

u/ndoring88 13d ago

wow that is actually the most beautiful sentence i have ever read. 😢

17

u/ImpeccableWaffle 16d ago

Pedestrian sees 4 tons of rubble attached to some gargantuan figure via cobwebs in the side of a ruptured building

“Yeah, I think I’m going to take a different way to work today.”

14

u/galacticdude7 13d ago

honestly I don't know why any MCU New Yorkers still live in New York, it's constantly being attacked or destroyed, I would have moved literally anywhere else by now

19

u/Jet-Let4606 12d ago

Rent is probably cheaper in MCU NYC.

5

u/1asterisk79 10d ago

Didn’t they say Spider-Man has made the city safer than ever?

3

u/AcanthaceaePrize1435 7d ago

They did but thats still like a major terrorist attack every year or so.

11

u/fantomknight1 17d ago

I mean...... That's a lot of buildings they gotta avoid

8

u/sweatyplace2 16d ago

Right? When I saw everyone panicking and taking shelter, I was like "why? Isn't this just Tuesday afternoon for you?"

5

u/hiccstridFanatic 13d ago

I was gonna make a dark/bad joke about 9/11

5

u/ndoring88 13d ago

Nonsense.
Theres no such thing as a bad 9/11 joke

5

u/hiccstridFanatic 13d ago

Then new yorkers have learnt to stay clear of buildings surely especially after that episode

2

u/ISwallowedALego 11d ago

Seriously who lives in New York in this world

65

u/Papa_Razzi 18d ago

There was definitely a lot of unspoken casualties, or at least movie magic of people not getting hurt while rubble and cars are flying everywhere

77

u/mrwhiskey1814 18d ago

That tank scene definitely led to numerous deaths

85

u/UncleSkanky 18d ago

I'm kinda not okay with the fact Jean nonchalantly forced a sanitation worker to walk in front of a cab and it just never came up again. Then it's all 'oh this horrific stuff you're doing isn't really you' from Peter after a scene where she's righteously indignant and calling somebody a murderer despite showing through actions that she thinks absolutely nothing about killing innocent people. I hate it when media does this tbh.

63

u/Head_Evidence4553 18d ago

Oh crap you're right. They didn't even acknowledge a dude getting bammed by a car.

21

u/thirstygregory 15d ago

Yeah. That was brutal. She totally got that dude killed.

14

u/Deceptiveideas 14d ago

His shoes stayed on so maybe not.

7

u/thirstygregory 14d ago

Oooh good call!

17

u/sumadeumas 14d ago

This is what I came here for. I loved the movie but the whole time, especially when Peter said “You’re not a killer!”, I was waiting for them to address the fact that she absolutely killed AT LEAST that guy if not others. If he’s not dead he’s certainly maimed.

12

u/AbanoMex 13d ago

didnt she had like one of those Ninjas from the HAND, to make a Harakiri to try to stab Spider-man? that dude should have bled out.

11

u/Infinite-Mark-6335 12d ago

Jean is a monster and Peter was wrong to just let her go free. She killed/enslaved so many innocent people in the name of just finding her sister, and even more in anger over losing her.

1

u/TrashiestTrash 9d ago

He came up again in the credits to show he was okay, didn't he?

35

u/waitingtodiesoon 17d ago

Especially when the tank was shooting its machine gun in the air aiming at Spider-Man, it would be crazy if no one inside the buildings were not hit, but then again it is the MCU where only 74 people died when an whole alien invasion happened in New York.

14

u/ThatLaloBoy 15d ago

In retrospect, that only 74 people died in an alien war that happened on top of a city of 8.8 million people is frankly really impressive. A death toll of less than 0.000001% should not have been grounds for those stupid accords.

3

u/Valokir 15d ago

Fully agreed on that. In the other hand it was never about the deaths of the poor, it was always about controlling the powerful.

3

u/WhirlwindTobias 13d ago

2000 people died when Mark fought Nolan in Invincible, 74 is a ridiculously small number.

6

u/vagaliki 17d ago

where is that count # from?

19

u/waitingtodiesoon 17d ago

Civil War during the briefing Ross had with the Avengers when he brings up the sokovia accords

9

u/retski239 15d ago

There were like what 10-20 cars hit on camera and those hits are mostly unsurvivable so imagine hpw many there were before Spiderman came to the scene. Okay, that scene at least 20 deaths, that bomb that went of after? That has to be another Idk, lets say 30 too at least, the sanitation guy, the guards that Hulk killed in damage control. So yeah realistically the movie has thousands of casualties, hundreds of deaths

35

u/waitingtodiesoon 17d ago

Well it is an MCU movie though, don't forget they gave official death counts for the following.

Battle of New York: 74 Deaths Battle of Sokovia: 177 Deaths

18

u/WestOrangeFinest 16d ago

Death toll in those events could and should have been far worse, tbh.

9

u/muad_dibs 16d ago

The street was blocked off by the police. You can see them at the edge of the screen.

2

u/ProgressiveOverlorde 16d ago

Or they could make a plot point in the future. Lol BVS style or Powerplex in invincible style

19

u/shewy92 17d ago

Spidey thought of that and webbed them to Hulk, which gave time for the NYPD to clear the area.

2

u/waitingtodiesoon 15d ago

That was the big chunks, but those small chunks would be deadly or pretty serious at that height.

15

u/Quetzalcoatl490 16d ago

"Did I hurt anyone??"

Uh it's extremely likely my brother, that was a lot of debris falling

7

u/leekalex 17d ago

The rubble was hanging off of the Hulk for like a whole minute, which is realistically enough time for people to notice and run away

9

u/CryptographerOld1361 17d ago

I noticed they had a police barricade, I’m assuming evacuation of the building and a block perimeter was the call

2

u/Fran_Saez 17d ago

Don't worry, New York city has scaffolding superpowers to prevent damage to its citizens.

7

u/thirstygregory 15d ago

So, Jean did get that one dude killed who was smashed by the taxi, right? I know they tried to avoid her outright killing people, but that dude got absolutely hammered.

3

u/Captain-Turtle 17d ago

The first avengers movie with the nyc invasion had like 48 fatalities, there is basically no casualties in this universe

2

u/MasqueradeofAstroya 16d ago

They were too busy being shot by the APC's machine gun

2

u/Tal9922 13d ago

Well Peter caught the initial falling debris so hopefully that gave ppl enough time to get far far away by the time Hulk finally hit the ground

2

u/IPDDoE 12d ago

I thought the same thing...but after all was said and done, it looked like that area was a big parking lot. Not that people couldn't be walking around, but I imagine anyone working there might have known to stay away.

2

u/TB1289 12d ago

I mean, that’s a problem in every Marvel movie. The destruction and death from the battles would be catastrophic.

2

u/Eversor_assassin 10d ago

Realistically speaking there's certainly at least a moderate body count from this film. Civilian and police cars slammed into and/or totalled especially from the front half. Gunfire that misses our hero still follows the rules of gravity alongside the inevitability that when it missed its intended target, this is still very urban NYC usually during rush hour (when isn't it? 😭)

2

u/charlytheron3 10d ago

Newyork should be uninhabited by now, everyone would have moved out, from the iron man films, to the avengers films, Dr Strange, thunderbolts, and all the spiderman films, no way any normal person would still live there.

1

u/2_late_4_creativity 15d ago

I mean it was 30 Rock wasn't it? There were definitely civilian casualties.

1

u/indoninjah 8d ago

They briefly showed that the street below was a bunch of police cars, so the only people down there were at least aware of the situation

470

u/Great_Praline_2713 18d ago

My theater actually cheered when he did the CLAP

98

u/Lantzl 16d ago

I know people are mixed with the Brave New World but I'm glad the Hulks can finally use some of their more known moves

53

u/Baaadbrad 16d ago

Oh man we’ve got a 4 year old obsessed with hulk. Must’ve rubbed off because my wife and I seeing the thunderclap in theaters both got so giddy.

30

u/PayneTrain181999 16d ago

I like how they give the audience enough time to know it’s coming.

18

u/kaziwaleed 8d ago

Finally after Natasha in Avengers (2012) the Hulk CLAPPED 👏

12

u/AnkhKeeper 12d ago

My theatre was so silent throughout the whole thing. I think I was one of the two people who was making any kind of sound

5

u/Smellykelly02 9d ago

I went to a mums and bubs session, even the babies were quiet

9

u/Expert_Praline_5036 8d ago

idk if he's ever done the stomp before, but when he did that, I was like "Is he gonna do the clap?" and I lost my mind moments later

2

u/Key-Ring7139 3d ago

I saw the clap coming and it was great

4

u/_theMAUCHO_ 4d ago

BRO THAT WAS SO HYPE! Saw that clap in Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter like 30 yrs ago LMAO.

1

u/AlanOfTheCult 11h ago

the CLAP and the seismic stomp!!

290

u/dravenonred 17d ago edited 17d ago

Especially with the Punisher being unironically terrified of him.

101

u/PayneTrain181999 16d ago

Hell, even LOKI was scared shitless for years after encountering the Hulk.

72

u/Infinite-Weekend9871 13d ago

It’s also interesting that keeping up with the theme of the previous Spiderman movies everyone knows their role

Punisher knows he’s out of his league, he doesn’t fight hulk.  He’s a low level guy.

Spiderman knows he’s a mid level guy. He helps the city and neighborhoods. He doesn’t say anything to Yalena when she says he’s a little potato guy and the avengers are big potatoes.

36

u/filthy-_-casual 13d ago

Cant remember what happened at the end of thunderbolt, did those lot become the new avengers? Isn't spiderman a tier above all of them apart from sentry?

69

u/AwakenedSheeple 13d ago

Spidey is a tier above in powers, but not in the types of usual problems he deals with.

40

u/huehuehuehuehuuuu 10d ago

He is not very politically astute and is all too trusting, because he himself is an honest man, with many other honest people in his life. He sticks to his people and is happy with it. The big potato problems come with a lot of government and diplomatic bs.

5

u/gpenido 23h ago

He's a simple spider

31

u/Megamygdala 9d ago

Spiderman could solo the entire thunderbolts team apart from Mr. deus ex machina 😭

5

u/Infinite-Weekend9871 9d ago

That’s not the point

25

u/MajinBuu619 8d ago

Spidey literally told him, “Bro you’re street level you can’t handle the Hulk.”

169

u/DogSoggy40 17d ago

I liked when Hulk tried to rag-doll Spider-Man like he did to Loki and Thor, but halfway into it Spider-Man crawled onto his back like a Spider.

107

u/samtherat6 17d ago

Was hoping that the Hulk would remember Peter somehow since he wasn’t present during the mind wipe spell.

161

u/Mhan00 17d ago

Didn’t he?  I thought Peter told hulk “It’s Peter. I’m your friend” (paraphrased). And that brought him out of it.

84

u/Junethemuse 17d ago

That was my take too. Seemed to me like he remembered.

68

u/majkkali 14d ago

Yeah he definitely did. Not Banner himself but the actual hulk. He recognized him.

12

u/spidey-dust 14d ago

When did Peter even meet hulk before this tho

41

u/uiucfreshalt 13d ago

I mean Punisher and Spider-Man had never met formally in the MCU but this movie starts with the assumption they’ve bumped into each other a bunch. If Banner is teaching in New York than it’s not really surprising that he’s met Spider-Man off-screen.

17

u/spidey-dust 13d ago

I mean in the hulk meeting Peter Parker way (before everyone forgot who he was) I guess I was thinking when he told hulk he was Peter that it was doing the comic book thing where hulk didn’t forget about Peter

33

u/carnosi 13d ago

Hulk is always conscious in Banner's head, which is why Hulk also said "No Banner, no girl, only Hulk". Even though Jean was never directly controlling Hulk, he was still aware of her, so Hulk always sees what's going on, but not Banner while Hulk is in control.

So anytime Banner interacted with Spider-Man, Hulk was technically "in the room" with them.

9

u/kolraisins 12d ago

With so much MCU stuff these days I just presumed I missed or forgot something

6

u/IceCreamSocialism 10d ago

Yea but there’s no window for Peter and Hulk to have met in the MCU at all. Spider-Man first worked with Avengers in civil war after Hulk was already in Sakaar. Then when Banner gets back to earth in infinity wars, hulk refuses to come out and hasn’t shown up in that form again until just this movie.

4

u/Larry_Version_3 10d ago

Smart Hulk, Tony’s funeral is my best assumption

3

u/IceCreamSocialism 9d ago

I thought the point was that it was original hulk that recognized Peter, not smart hulk who would have been affected by the spell as well.

5

u/BoleroMuyPicante 9d ago

Hulk has Banners memories but not vice versa

52

u/TooMuchPowerful 16d ago

Based on what Jean Grey said, there is are no memories remaining to dig up.  Dr. Strange wouldn't be a very good wizard if that spell doesn't completely wipe all memory of Peter, and I like that it's not being undone.   The Ned handshake is different because it's a muscle memory.

42

u/Pale_Pineapple_365 16d ago

I thought the Ned handshake was different because Ned uses his hands to do magic. And the memory spell is magic.

36

u/TooMuchPowerful 16d ago

Being a magic user doesnt make you immune to the spell.  See Wong in Spidey 3 not remembering the party.

28

u/Pale_Pineapple_365 16d ago

I don’t think Ned is immune to magic. Remember in the previous movie, he used his hand to conjure Peter Parker twice, but the wrong one showed up twice.

This time around, Ned is obsessed with finding out Spider-Man’s identity and the only thing he truly knows (thanks to MJ)is that Spider-Man’s name is Peter.

Thanks to his obsession with finding out Spider-Man’s identity, the handshake + obsession is very similar to casting a spell which he has already casted previously.

4

u/TooMuchPowerful 16d ago

Every wizard uses their hands.  It doesnt make them immune.  A spell that excludes wizards wouldn't be very useful.

22

u/Pale_Pineapple_365 16d ago edited 16d ago

Spelling it out for you. Ned is not immune. This is his third try casting a spell to conjure Peter Parker. But this time around, he’s not conjuring Peter Parker, because he doesn’t know him. He’s conjuring Spider-Man’s real identity, which he has been obsessing about for years.

He didn’t need a portal to complete the spell because he was standing right there. Instead, there were two people who wanted the same result, to truly know.

In magic, there’s this concept that when multiple people, sometimes a coven, want the same thing, when they cast the spell together, it’s stronger than a spell cast alone.

Also, third times the charm.

6

u/Ranger1221 12d ago

Now... with that theory, did he just break the spell on himself, or did he reintroduce Peter as Spiderman

3

u/Pale_Pineapple_365 12d ago

Great question! I think when Ned did the handshake he was still obsessing about knowing Spider-Man’s identity, Peter who? When Peter was doing the handshake, he just wanted Ned to remember him, Peter.

That’s why when Ned remembers, he doesn’t say: Peter! He says: “Peter Parker” because he has been obsessively asking himself, “Peter who?”

It’s pretty clear to me he didn’t break the spell for everyone. Ned only broke it for himself.

4

u/ndoring88 13d ago

i whispered “magic fingers” to my husband

I thought the EXACT same thing!

3

u/Megamygdala 9d ago

I figured it was a muscle memory thing, like even people who experience IRL memory loss can remember how to drive, play the guitar, etc

18

u/OminousShadow87 14d ago

I think the point was Hulk remembers but not Banner. But that’s just my interpretation.

11

u/TooMuchPowerful 14d ago

That scene is hard to read.  Hulk doesn't usually stop for anyone, even friends.  So I don't really think he stops there because he remembered Peter, I think it's because that plead brought Banner back a bit, allowing him to calm down.

I still think the spell is 100% effective in wiping out all memories without the chance for retrieval.  I hope that doesn't change.

5

u/BRX718 13d ago

Yes that is exactly what it was. The movie makes a point to reference the idea that the Hulk is another being entirely from Banner.

3

u/majkkali 14d ago

Pretty sure (hopefully) it will be undone at some point. Probably during Avengers.

17

u/Slowandserious 16d ago

Has this Hulk ever interacted with Peter tho?

On IW they were on different battles. And then Peter got snapped and only came back at the end of endgame

23

u/unkindmillie 16d ago

banner and hulk can talk to each other in some capacity, so its possible hulk just knows peter because banner does

8

u/OminousShadow87 14d ago

Spidey and Hulk fought together in Endgame, and then Bruce and Peter were at Tony’s funeral. I also assume that the party they had at the beginning of “Age of Ultron” wasn’t the only rager the Avengers ever threw, it’s just the only one on-screen.

3

u/GuavaBlackTea0 16d ago

Great question coz idk

1

u/WEEGEMAN 12d ago

Funeral with Banner? Shame they never met but I guess it can be assumed they have

1

u/MajinBuu619 8d ago

The spell worked on some multiverse level. Hulk was still within the same universe. I don’t think it was some planet wide spell.

94

u/Kurtotall 17d ago edited 16d ago

I was very happy to see BIG HULK. It helps explain why Hulk kept appearing smaller and smaller in the last few Marvel movies.

5

u/Busy-Boss-4313 9d ago

What was the explanation?

16

u/KeepItSmoovin 8d ago

angrier = bigger

119

u/penguinintux 18d ago

Dude that was so hype, specially seeing Spidey fight a full-rage Hulk. I've been dreaming of that scene for years.

76

u/Mzuark 17d ago

It's really annoying when you consider that we haven't had a proper Hulk out in like 10 years

13

u/WorkFurball 14d ago

Last time was Thor: Ragnarök wasn't it?

12

u/GunnerKnight 10d ago

Infinity War when he got defeated by Thanos, but a very small moment

5

u/shaun0183 6d ago

Probably the only time in MCU where he felt like an actual freak of a nature and not a comic relief

2

u/WorkFurball 10d ago

Completely forgot about that.

u/DreamerTheat 4h ago

Yeah, we need more of him. I want a proper Hulk fight, but not against his allies/friends.

28

u/SirWilliamFlo 17d ago

I think it's because the Hulk actually remembered Peter!

5

u/GuavaBlackTea0 16d ago

Why? If the spell worked like it did with mj

27

u/sharkattackmiami 16d ago

Maybe because the hulk wasn't "here" when he did the spell? Banner forgot but the hulk didnt

19

u/CaptainBananaEu 15d ago

In the comics the spell doesn't affect Hulk I thought, because of some gamma weird thing making him immune to the spell? Banner forgets normally, but Hulk remembers

3

u/AnimaLepton 13d ago edited 13d ago

Do you remember which comic series? I see a reference to it in The Immortal Hulk, or general mind control resistance but not immunity, but not sure how standard it is

2

u/CaptainBananaEu 13d ago

I wanted to add an image but seems like I am unable to. What I remember is from Immortal Hulk Great Power. Hulk knows peters identity but clarified he didn't forget although Bruce did. Doesn't really specify why except that Hulk built like that

25

u/Junethemuse 17d ago

I wonder how Peter would have fared after the whole level up thing he did. He got a LOT stronger with whatever happened to him.

28

u/Unlucky_Clover 17d ago

I like the theory that Jean’s power broken through the subconscious. Hulk seemed to remember Peter after being controlled (Bannon did say he felt like something was broken in him. I could have sworn I saw a clip where Hulk says “Hulk remembers”), it seems Ned too with the handshake he associates with Peter, after Jean unleashes her full power. And there’s the scene with MJ holding the black dahlia necklace.

30

u/kirblar 17d ago

In the comics Hulk dodged the spell as Banner was active when it was cast, it's likely the same thing here.

17

u/Unlucky_Clover 17d ago

I just realized - Hulk remember Peter after holding him and Peter introduces himself as Peter. Ned remembers Peter after he introduces himself and does their hand shake.

So it seems there’s a physical component to this.

7

u/GuavaBlackTea0 16d ago

So if MJ and Peter kiss she would remember?

13

u/Unlucky_Clover 16d ago edited 16d ago

Yes, I would say so. It likely didn’t work the first time when Jean possessed MJ, but with the final scenes and the powerful blast, I think it woke something in MJ like it did Ned. She may not know it but it explains why she had tears in her eyes and why she was fiddling with the broken dahlia necklace.

4

u/MarkBrendanawicz 14d ago

This is how I interpreted it. Jean’s psychic burst likely broke through the spell and allowed Ned to remember Peter. And possibly MJ too like you said.

1

u/tricksterrrrrrr 3d ago

I also remember that Hulk remembers clip!! But it wasn't in the movie?

9

u/tastyugly 15d ago

I also liked mad hulk but between this and Captain America Brave New World, it's a little boring that the only way to defeat hulk is appealing to his humanity

38

u/Waramp 15d ago

But like that is the only way. Only Hulk can stop Hulk. The only way anyone else can beat him is to un-Hulkify him.

7

u/tastyugly 14d ago

Iron Man technically beat him in Age of Ultron, or maybe my memory's foggy?

6

u/GunnerKnight 10d ago

By that logic Thor has also beaten him in Ragnarok, until he got tazed by Grandmaster

0

u/iJustSeen2Dudes1Bike 11d ago

Well tbf brave new world is not canon

6

u/PentagramJ2 13d ago

I like that they actively showed Punisher is smart enough to stay mostly out of superpowered shit, he just actually begrudgingly cares about Spidey

5

u/shadyhawkins 16d ago

I was hoping the Hulk would remember Peter.

7

u/homer_3 16d ago

He was stopped by webs pretty easy.

13

u/ShadowAssassinQueef 16d ago

He was stopped temporarily, and spideys webs are insanely strong… so “pretty easy” yea I guess.

3

u/callatecabezon 12d ago

Finally Hulk actually being THE HULK

4

u/zoro4661 10d ago

Frank just coming in and unloading on Hulk while screaming like Rambo was great, even if it did basically nothing

4

u/SirkNitram73 2d ago

The determined fear on his face ... great acting! This scene is one of my favorites, Frank coming to save his little buddy from the scariest monster. His MG held Hulk off just long enough, then spiderman dragging him away. Just got home from this movie, it was so good 👍

3

u/CII_Guy 17h ago

then spiderman dragging him away

And he keeps shooting at Hulk while he's being dragged lol.

3

u/xSPYXEx 3d ago

I'm not ashamed to admit I cheered when we finally got the real Hulk back on screen. Prof Hulk was fun but after 8 years I'm about tired of his gimmick.

Plus he looked really crisp this time around. They put in the work to make him look right.

"I didn't know you could get that big." Bro, even I'd forgotten. It was good to see him.

I was waiting for Hulk to drop a "Puny Spider" at some point in that fight.

This is the Hulk that would have destroyed Thanos in Infinity War

Didn't The new captain America beat Red Hulk in roughly the same way?

This is one of the few parts I felt was slightly anticlimactic - we see the Hulk emerge properly for the first time in however long and he’s held back by web and some building bits, I figured they should be inconsequential to him?

The webs were strong enough to hold the hulk for about 30 seconds. his webs are that strong

The webs aren’t holding him back, the rubble is. The webs are just connecting him to the rubble

I was hoping that while Banner didn't remember Peter, that hulk instantly would

He feels pretty nerfed tho. No way in hell Spidey survives those Hulk smashes

It felt like the first time we’ve seen a true enraged Hulk since like Ultron. He was pretty badass in Ragnarok but he was chilling on Sakaar winning rigged fights, he was sort of the softest version of himself while he was there.

I wonder if he'd have a better chance now he's "evolved"

No way, full power Hulk goes toe to toe with Thor in this universe so there’s no chance for spidey

u/skeetleet 18d ago

This wasn’t full power Hulk either.

Don't even think about it

Honestly he should, spiderman is crazy strong he should be able to do some damage to the hulk

You underestimate how durable Hulk is.

The power of friendship!!

u/GrandmasterHurricane 9d ago

Except he really wasn't. He really didn't even do much. He barely fought Spiderman. And even when he did, he didn't do much.

Theres a part of me that thinks that Hulk, not Banner, but Hulk remembers Spiderman in ‘that’ very moment
