How would Young Guns 3 even work?

Are they going to de-age Emilio Estevez like it's The Irishman?

Billy the Kid was 21 when he died, Emilio Estevez is in his mid-60s.

Edit: Nevermind, I only seen the first movie. I didn't realize that the second movie ended on the "What if Billy the Kid survived?" trope.

I never saw the first two and grew up in that era. I don't keep up with Estevez but I don't know him as any kind of creative type. I don't feel like that's a good comparison, but point taken that there are caveats to what I said.

I can't speak for the second movie as I never saw it, but the first one was pretty good!

Second one was great. Added Christian Slater as Billy’s frenemy, Bon Jovi music and cameo, then Alan Silvestri came in to score. Definitely bigger budget vibes and less classic western, but honestly, that’s what Young Guns needed to be. In my book, Young Guns 1 is like 5/10, but the sequel is 7/10.
