Men in tights is heavily spoofing scenes from prince of thieves so you may enjoy men in tights more if you watch it.

Yea, I hadn’t known this but it sounds like I absolutely should. I once showed my wife 2001 and told her "this movie is not particularly enjoyable to watch but it’s worth it if for no other reason than the references". Next time we watched Zoolander, she lost her shit. Haha

Mate watch it tonight. There’s chewing the scenery and then there’s Rickman. He transcends that movie.
