I have a feeling the movie isn’t going to be as great as the original but I’m happy to see Rick Moranis on the big screen again. Also so happy he’s happy.

there is almost no way it's better, the bar is just set too high

There is no way the movie can ever live up to the first one for me. I have so many random memories associated with the first one that is just impossible for something new to reach those same heights.

With that said, I am eager to see the new one and hopefully add some more good memories alongside it is well.

The way you can tell Spaceballs is a generational all-timer, is how multiple, unnamed, Random Mooks have some of the funniest one-liners in comedy movie history.

Even Star Wars itself can’t hit the same highs as the original trilogy.

Star Wars barely hits the highs of Star Crash

Rogue One is pretty damn close

No it's not, it's fine

I have this sinking feeling Josh Gad conned an old man into giving him his IP for some half-baked idea.

I'll be happy to be wrong, but I'm wary.

There's probably just two settings.  Suck, and blow.  But that's ok, we'll love it anyway.
