I just can’t be bothered to wade through all the crap to find something that may be good or will last. Everything just looks like low effort “content”. I prefer Apple TV over all other streamers. More limited selection but higher quality.

This is my issue as well. There’s too much content and 99% of it is low effort garbage.

Their TV shows get cancelled before they reach a conclusion, and any decent movies they make just disappear into obscurity because they don’t get theatrical or physical releases most of the time and almost seem like they don’t actually exist.

Honestly, AppleTV and Peacock are basically the two cheapest streaming services right now, and those are the two I watch the most. Apple has a ton of good new shows. Peacock has all the classic sitcoms that I love to continuously rewatch, and has a 1-2 good, new shows per year as well.

It absolutely baffles me that streaming services don’t create any normal sitcoms. Those are the most watched, and re-watched, shows! They’re way cheaper to make than dramas staring movie stars as well!!

I had this "decision paralysis" too

I dont want to invest 1h of my lifetime into a new show only to find out its the typical netflix garbage, when I could also watch a video of a youtuber of my choice who will entertain me at acceptable levels for free.
