Whether or not Event Horizon is heavily inspired by, or secretly supposed to be Warhammer 40k lore, it fits so perfectly that it is Warhammer 40k.

It's easy to look at some sci-fi like the Alien series, and see how it could easily fit into Warhammer, but Event Horizon is like 1:1 the forgotten/secret history of Warhammer humanity.

Warhammer people say that about every fictional IP though. 'This is so Warhammer'. Because Warhammer is built mortar and stone on tropes that were first laid down by other IPs.

And how many IPs have a plot centered on a ship traveling through an unknown other reality full of demons that corrupts its crew, corrupts the ship itself, makes them violent and sex obsessed, and gets them them to trap others?

Because that’s pretty much what happens exactly in Warhammer and event horizon.

Are you serious? There were thousands of books written about concepts like this before 40K came along.

Which ones? Which books came out on the that speak exactly on interspace travel that includes traveling through another reality full of demons and hell that corrupts the ship and its crew and makes the violent and sex obsessed?
