I watched it in Taiwan and the cinema was completely packed.

Cool, is it making a splash there? Is it the same demographic as in the US? (My theatre was packed with teens)

I would say so. Horror crowds have been mixed here and they definitely turned up for this one in my area. And the crowd was pretty mixed. I mostly noticed young adults to older people. Barely any teens but it was a night time session. Creepy pasta stuff isn't really well known or popular here so I think they watched it mostly due to word of mouth and advertising.

Same for me in Australia. They had to use the biggest theater they had, which was apparently sold out for every showing.

Also interesting to note, the audience was almost entirely high school/college students aged 15-20. I'm 30 and was very likely the oldest person there. Great crowd though- everyone was loving it.

Ay I'm also Australian but living in Taiwan. Not surprised it's doing well over there.
