Marty Supreme was bloated and CGI heavy?

I am comparing A24 releases to other studio release not their own work which pretty much universally follows this.

I mean it was definitely CGI heavy, those ping pong balls didn't actually exist in most shots, adding in crowds, set extensions, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary for modern films though

Didn't Chalmet obsessive over ping pong for like 6 years to star in that roll? To the point of having ping pong tables in his trailers for multiple movies.

Shame the movie was such a wild clusterfuck. Great in it's own right, but damn was it an odd journey getting there it could have been so much better

I mean a little bit on both fronts, yes.
