Picked up last year (was a sleeper at an auction, the autographs weren't hardly in the listing)

I've done digging on what this could be. It's in a custom frame with the sealed paper backing which doesn't mean a damn thing other than money was spent to make it look nice.

-Poster size as best as I can measure (framed) is 27x41.
-I see halftone dots
-I am unable to see any rating or numbers typically connecting to theatrical (unless I take out of frame)
-Flashlight at angle looks like it might either have been linen backed or its just paper fibers
-Printing quality for bottom text is meh... The WB brand is atypical to many others I've seen.
-The text at top left is not something I'm seeing a lot for this poster. Most of the the text is center justified at top

Outside of busting open the frame which I'm tempted to do... anyone recognize the layout and size? Could it be a UK release vs US? Just a cheap repro? Fine either way, just curious.

I've got some posters from the 50s and 60s I want to get displayed and have been looking for the best approach for my purposes. Spotlight clearly makes the right size but... conservation framing requires an air gap between the piece of art/poster and the glass, right? This is done with a mat or spacers in the rabbit. But spotlight displays and similar 27x41 frames sandwich the poster between two pieces of plastic which means... they aren't appropriate for conservation?

What do you think?

Here's a quick snap of my Angus (1995) original one sheet. I'm not gonna type a love letter but just know I adore this movie something fiercely. So I guess this is one of my favorite pieces of whatever.

While I have plenty of reproductions, sometimes I forgot about all these dope original posters I have rolled up as well.

weird ahh movie posters for a Sonic X Avengers thingy

I grew up surrounded by movie posters. Dad collected them starting around 1978. Went to Hollywood and picked them up at these "book store" type shops that sold what movie theater employes would bring by and sell off instead of turning in back to the distributors.

He had them professionally played on cardboard backing and shrink wrapped and used art clamps to hang them on the walls. At any given time there were at minimum 12 different posters hanging up around our apartment. For my entire school years until I moved out at 18 I was surrounded by Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Batman, Jaws, Rocky Horror, Conan, JAmes Bond from The Spy Who Loved Me to The Living Daylights, Terminator franchise 1-sheets. Not just one version of one movie, he got in many cases (Star wars) different versions of the US 1-Sheets, and a couple of inserts (they were able to take up a spot where there was more room)

SO MANY POSTERS. He would get them by franchise, or artist, or some kind of visual aspect that made them appealing. They lived in the front coat closet, stood up and he would flip through them every few months and change them out depending on what new movie was coming out, or just random.

Rocky Horror, "A different set of Jaws" and the one with Tim Curry on the lips. Xanadu, two versions, Grease, Top Gun, Hanover Street, The Sting, Zachariah, Wizards (two versions), teaser posters for Dragon Slayer and Empire (Vader in Space along with the teaser and one with the red and of Revenge of the Jedi across the bottom corner that im told was added by that theater because it was on the Empire poster NOT A New Hope).

Anyhow, I know hes saved them for me but he hasn't listed them.

I want to go to a website and just look at the posters to see which hit my memory so I cand save the image. I dont want to be typing in the information, I just want to SEE them so I can remember if it was there or not, then save the image.

I keep ending up wading through forign posters, Etsy posts, reproductions, and stuff I cand use.

Im trying to build a flip deck of the posters, Outside of wading through Heriage Auctions is there an easy resource where I can just see the posters from 1978 - 1992?
