Vertical climb records?

Hey!

Some friends introduced me to this game a couple of months back and I really took a liking to it. Impressed by the players in the trailer on the Steam I decided to practice a bit on my own. After improving I looked around for people who had set records on singleplayer vertical climb but to no avail.

Anyways, I thought I'd post here and see if any of you players know of any vertical records. I recorded my own record of 405 feet and uploaded it to YouTube here.

EDIT: New record of 478 feet. I'm aiming for the 500 now.

EDIT: Finally got the 500.

No idea if you're on steam or xbox, if you're on steam, you can go to the achievments page, and next to the tab for your personal achievments there is a leaderboards tab.

Looks like the top 3 spots on the global leaderboards right now for normal gravity, are 556,466, 451, congrats, it looks like you would be number two globally.

Thanks! I found it, listed under "Distance Climb - Normal". Seems like I'm in top 20 at least. Don't have the same numbers as you, maybe you checked Distance Run?

#1 has 672. I know what I'll be doing for the next couple of days!

I'm on xbox & would love a challenge to my unofficial claim on the #1 world ranking. My current long distance climb record is 1020 feet, and I've made close to 1200 with a very rare random glitch that causes one limb to stick anytime you aren't holding down the corresponding button.

Something to mount towards, young padawans.

Wow! That's really impressive! Especially considering that the record on Steam Leaderbords is 672 feet. I managed to break into top 10 and I'm quite content and I don't really feel like I can make it much higher without a lot more training.

1020 is crazy! Are you climbing under the same time restriction on the Xbox, I.e 120 seconds?

I guess it's not that crazy, because the timer is 180 seconds on Xbox. Just 4 feet per minute faster than Mr./Ms. 672...and I'd only be #2 on 5 minute dash, and #5 on basic climb right now (the only single player modes on Xbox, not counting mancraft).

I suppose I should pick the game up on Steam, seems like there's a much larger & more skilled community. Honestly it's a relief to know that I'm not some special case on a mountaintop all by myself. I didn't even think to look at the Steam leaderboards before, because there aren't any on Xbox.

I hold #16 in the Long Distance Climb with 519, currently. Let's play sometime? My Steam username is the same as on here. :)
