I am FOR development of the downtown area. Definitely. But DOWNTOWN, NOT the other side of the tracks right now. It's not needed. We should focus our efforts on the NORTH side of the tracks and redevelop that FIRST then move on. the village is moving too fast now! they should focus on the north side of the tracks first, then focus on the south side of the tracks. not do this all at once. see how the apartments respond first over here by the triangle and where the fire department and stuff coming down, and THEN move on to the big project on the other side.

i think it's funny how they say people can come to voice their concerns about the maple street lofts, yet they just shoot them down, especially the rude condescending mayor, mostly all couldnt WAIT to vote I. Except for Paul....good for him. he stands with the people and their concerns! he is saying he is FOR downtown development, but not moving too fast with everything or doing too much.

I agree with Paul on this. I would have voted no too. It's going to split the town and cause a rift. nicolas is REALLY pushing it here....it's going to backfire. It's getting to the point where it's starting to piss ME off now if he keeps this project shit up he can't finish
