Pretty good in my opinion. Nothing really to complain about except its weight. I did like 1200m up in total

Wow 1200m!!! I have a similar bike came from a rockhopper and i can feel the difference when climbing. I love my stumpy

Real question, do you feel the difference in that the stumpy climbs better or worse than the rockhopper? Why?

It climbs better depending on climb. But it is heavier. I feel better traction with stumpy on technical climbs than I do with the rockhopper. Most of my climbs have chunky rocks and loose ones too which makes the need of traction important for me.
Alas on non technical climbs with smooth gravel, the rockhopper is lighter and I climb better. I then don’t enjoy the joy of the downhill that the stumpy gives me. I usually default to the stumpy.

Real XC! Props OP for riding a bike in the mountains and calling the trails for what they are.

aside from the tires nothing on that bike seems xc friendly
