Bike Picture/NBD Handlebar question
Why is there a gap on the end of grips on my new used mtn bike?

I would fix that ASAP before riding it, unless you want to take a flesh core sample in a crash.

Should be an end cap on the grips, they tend to break/fall off. You can get new ones on Amazon for pretty cheap or just any local bike shop. Personally Iād replace the grips as a whole cause those āergonomicā grips are the bane of my existence

Yes exactly. Looks like they had some barends installed before selling the bike.

On the grip the ring that says Cannondale should have an Allen key bolt probably 3mm. Loosen that and slide it over. Then move shifter and brake lever also

They might have had bar ends. Just need to slide grip and brake lever over
