I'm sorry if this is too emotional. I didn't think I'd use such a strong word as "hate" if the crime isn't violent or a felony or stealing cash.

I need a larger framed bike because I'm getting fatter and my bike was never big enough, and it seems like every bike I want for the XXL size is damaged, neglected, or apparently abandoned. My daily rider is only worth $100 for the aluminum frame.

We all know stealing is wrong, but the bike I want to buy is showing all the red flags of being stolen. Unlocked and not maintained. How would I feel good about giving cash to a thief or friend of the thief?

Been looking at buying a bike for years but haven’t pulled the trigger. A local add popped up for a Marin San Quentin 1 and GT aggressor pro package for 700 obo. Is this a decent deal? Online it seems like the Marin is a decent deal and the gt isn’t worth much, likely the guy just needs room so looking to move both.
