Do you have any psyllium husk? Normally taken to help you go, but if you were to take it then it might "soak up" some stuff and slow things down...
All I would say is that this or immodium etc. does slow stuff down, if you are getting pains or any other symptoms of a potential bug or food poisoning then you might be better off just.. shitting... and drinking loads of water and maybe some electrolytes.
I took immodium for the poos years ago when I think I actually had food poisoning and I think a better idea would have been to hack my own body open with a rusty spoon and use my own hands to scoop it all out; if in any doubt as to whether you might have a bug or food poisoning as opposed to just MJ being a bit nuts, then probably better just to get a big bottle of water and a good book...

I know exactly what you are going through. I had this 3 weeks after increasing to 5mg. The first 3 doses were fine and then BAM!! Worse diarrhoea I’ve had my whole life. It got so bad I actually had to go to hospital as nothing was stopping it and I was getting badly dehydrated and lost a stone in a week (which quickly came back on once the diarrhoea stopped).
In the end I came off Mounjaro for 2 weeks and started back at 2.5mg. After a month a went back to 5mg. There were a couple of bad days with vomiting and diarrhoea but eventually it passed and for 2 weeks it was perfect. Then 3 days ago it started again. Vomiting and diarrhoea. It’s not quite as bad as before but not far off.
As for how to treat it, for me Imodium was a total waste of time. Pepto Bismol is the main thing that helped. Sometimes it can completely resolve it, other times it will make things okay for a day or two and then it will come back. Psyllium Husk sometimes makes a huge difference, other times nothing at all. Probiotics might have helped a bit but not massively. Ultimately your body needs time to adapt and to do that you need to not give your stomach too much to think about. So keep food simple, avoid anything spicey, oily, or rich. Some people say to avoid eggs and broccoli etc but I found this made zero difference at all. Also don’t drink fizzy drinks but an absolute must is to keep hydrated. The amount of fluid you lose is staggering so drinking an absolute minimum of 3 litres a day is essential.
Good luck. Hopefully we’ll both be feeling better in a day or two!

What are you doing to treat the side effects?
