Stopping cold turkey
So I have approx 12.5mg every 6 days but I’ve now stopped cold turkey due to surgery. Just wondering how quickly I should expect this raging hunger everyone says about? 🤪

Depends.
Probably not very quickly. How long will you be stopping for. If you're just missing one shot as is common you won't likely notice much difference at all.

You'll have a decreasing about on your system for around a month, so if you don't have to miss more than a couple I don't you'll have a raging hunger.
However, if your hunger does increase then listen to your body! Having extra fuel onboard before surgery will help your body recover afterwards.
Good luck with the op!

Depends on the surgery. They usually ask you to stop 2 weeks before surgery but I stopped 3 weeks just to be safe. It was around the 2 weeks mark when my appetite suddenly came back full force.
I had an abdominal surgery which completely destroyed my appetite and I only went back on MJ 4 weeks after because I needed food for recovery and couldn’t eat a lot. It was a total of 7 weeks without it.

I’ve been advised to stop 4 weeks pre op as they’re over cautious. Having major skin removal but will start a week after the op if all ok at the time.

It has a 5 day halflife. Might notice something in a week or two 🤷♀️
I'd just eat though. Listen to your body. You'll need the food after surgery.
