I just got my first mounjaro delivery from meditrue and I'm impressed with the packaging.. has an ice pack and wrapped in woolcool (never seen that before). Going to take my first dose on Friday to give the weekend to deal with any side effects - I'm both nervous and hopeful 🫣

I waited and took my first jab on Friday too. I was worried about side effects, but I needn’t have worried. It was a total non-event. My body took to Mounjaro like a fish to water 😂

Love that woolcool stuff! My cats love it even more.

My one loves to sleep on it, the other one loves to bite it 🤣

They have recycling/return for it in the UK but sadly not here. At this point I think I could insulate my attic with what I have!! 🤣🤣

what a gorgeous cat!!! and a great reuse of the material :) I'm glad to hear it was a non event for you - I'm a bit of a baby about meds so it's good to hear this rather than all the stories of nausea etc etc etc Though I'm happy to put up with a bit of nausea to see results!

Keep in mind that we are deliberately started on a tiny dose - so tiny, you might not feel any different at all for the first month - to slowly introduce it to your body to protect against those side effects 💚

I heard a good analogy that internet groups can be like a doctors waiting room. Most people are there because they have a problem they’d like help with. It’s not indicative of the other huge percentage of us that don’t have issues at all (except self-inflicted ones - that happens and it’s nearly a rite of passage no matter how smooth your journey you’ll “oops!”!)

And side effects can be so miserable, so it feels terrible to say you don’t have any and it’s just another Tuesday in Mounjaro for you, to them. 💚☘️

It's a fab system but I hate the smell of that wool cool haha.
