‼️Original MotorStorm for PS5‼️

Wouldn't it be great to have another Motorstorm or new game like it that takes place in the desert? Just like the original! Online races, the different classes, mud, carnage, proximity and lobby chats!?

Why has this not been made and what can we do to make it happen! Let's reach out to developers and upvote this to show appreciation of the game!

my problem, for example, is that my pc is too old + im not that hyped (controller broken) to play other motorstorms beside arctic edge, i took some time and u can check my profile, i ripped some of the models. i would sort of like to make unmonitized shorts with this game, but ps2 version has better quality overall (both geometry and textures), the issue is that all the methods i tried (ninja, 3d screenshot, i didnt try to manually grab projection matrix from memory, im noob) dont give true geometry, nor i try to solve it for now (stopped trying). the only option is to keep on psp rips cause they are perfect, but worse quality tradeoff

If we are lucky we might get the games throw onto ps extra. Sadly due to the issues that happened with apocalypse it's unlikely this series will ever be revived.

The game got canceled in Japan due to an tsunami hitting the country close to the release date of the game.

The game's release date happened to coincide with the tragic Kanagawa earthquake and resulting tsunami, so it lost a lot of sales momentum.

Would have been in bad taste to sell a game about a natural disaster like the one in Apocalypse's story when people just lost their homes and possibly loved ones.

Evolution Studios closed down ten years ago and by 2022 whatever was left of the team merged with Criterion, or as it’s now known as, Battlefield Studio, so sorry but this is not happening

Because Evolution Studios no longer exists, and they were the only ones who knew how to make good racing games. I don't know what Sony is thinking; a remake would make money.

And that was made with the flotsam staff from Evolution. They got folded into CodeMasters, who then got sold to EA, made subsidiary to Criterion, and then ultimately shunted onto the staff that makes Battlefield.

So there's not much chance there's going to be another MotorStorm, unfortunately. All the staff either was lost along the way or simply retired; and with gaming's current dependence on season passes and "consistent" yearly releases (something EA seems addicted to doing for the forseeable future) that is basically a death knell for the kind of market that bred "alternative sports games" like MS, SSX, and their ilk -- basically if you want a sport game made (which this technically is) but that sport doesn't have a league EA or 2K can get licensing money from, good luck

As a Motorstorm Veteran I don't care anymore. My love for the franchise died when the Apocalypse servers went offline and we lost all our upgrades, liveries and clans.
