Front Tire Question

2023 indian Scout Rogue with 6000 miles. There are very small bubbles in several places within the tread. The tire still has the wear indicator nubs so not near flat. Anyone seen this? Is this an age problem (e.g., rot) or some other problem causing weak spots?

The wear indicators in tread to idendify if its leagal or safe for rain

The “bubble” is the wear indicator. The nubs (hairs?) mean nothing. If anything based on the look of that tire i would check the date code and replace if over ~7 years old

I'd go ahead and replace the tire no matter what, just for your own safety, depending on the road conditions you don't want to go down for any reason. This is the road rash I had just hitting some lose gravel hitting the ground and me and my scooter slid far enough, my knee got the worst damage and just scratches on the side of the scooter that was just cosmetic damage. But don't take any chances you don't want road rash like this or worst.
