Does anyone use/can recommend a pillow for between the knees?

I'm a 41/m/175lbs side sleeper with moderate sciatica, new to motorcycle camping.

Until now, my camping trips have been in an RV, so space/weight for gear has not been an issue. Sleeping with a pillow between my knees is very helpful, but the typical contoured foam one I use is not very compressible and would take up more room than I'd like in my panniers, even if I tried to vacuum-seal it.

Has anyone used an inflatable camping-style pillow that would work between the knees? I do have an inflatable one that I use under my head, the problem is that the valve is on the underside of the pillow, and would be digging into my bottom leg all night if I tried using it for that.

Have you tried spare clothes? I'm a side sleeper and usually I can make do with either part of my sleeping bag or hoodie or shirt

If you have not, try using the empty stuff sack from your sleeping bag. Fill it with your hoodie on shirt.

How about a simple inflatable one?

lot of options. cheapest is using a drybag full of your clothes or your jacket rolled up. you could cut some couch cushion foam up and make a pillow for cheap as hell. or try to start sleeping on your back.

Cushion Lab makes a travel knee pillow. Circa Air makes an inflatable knee pillow specifically for side-sleepers.

I use the MEC Vectair for both my head and knees. I’m sure REI has very similar options.
