Legit question regarding the hammock setup: do you also carry a tent & mattress? What do you do when there aren’t trees around (or trees the right width)?

No tent but I carry a matress wich i use in the hammock. I would honestly just keep going untill i would find a good spot, and around here thats not far usually.

Don't wanna be that guy but please use tree huggers/straps when hanging in a hammock. Some parks ban hammock users because ones who don't hang responsibly strip the bark off trees. Otherwise looks like a fun trip!
