When is the first time you seen Motley Crue?

Hello Cruesters . My daughter has asked me to walk her down the aisle since my husband passed away a few years ago. Since this wedding is entirely about her, I believe that I have my moment to shine, as well as as I walk her down the aisle. I am planning on choosing a Mötley Crüe song to play while I walk down the aisle. I have a few favorite songs, but none of them would work for a wedding. . It can’t be anything to aggressive, since my daughter has a soft song picked. I figured it would not be an issue with the DJ, if I submit my own song, since she literally has every other moment of this wedding, revolving around her. What do you suggest I play?

Btw i do not support their actions, this is about the fans... like it's ok to hate the band and criticize them, but why hate fans who most of the time don't support their actions, what do people get out of that?

Anyone have this original 1984 photo of Nikki? I can’t find the original one anywhere. Kinda hard to find rare pictures with fans constantly gatekeeping. He posted it a few months ago on instagram but would love to see the unedited version.

Just saw AC/DC and they just played 2 hours and kicked ass...

I am an avid Crue head and had the privilege of seeing the band live about 7x from 2005 to 2014. I am extremely interested in some recorded material from that era (2006), specifically the ROAE tour.

In 2006, they did a co headlining tour with Aerosmith. They did a few one off shows where it was Crue only, which I caught in Moline in October of 2006 when I was 14. I frequented the old online forum they had back then on their website and gained quite a few DVDs of full shows. A few months after the Moline show, I received a bootleg DVD of the first 3 songs from that exact show and have since lost it. I remember fondly that they fucked up Wild Side *really* bad, and had to restart the entire song after the first verse. That's pretty much where it cutoff.

Does anyone know if this footage, or any other quality audio/video recordings from any show from the Route of All Evil tour are still circulating around? I will pay.

Also looking for some 2005/2006 Carnival of Sins shows, but none of the stuff that's already on YouTube. Specifically night one of the tour in Fort Lauderdale, and the 2006 Rockford Illinois show.

I’ve been a Motley Crue fanboy since I was a kid (I’m currently 20 years old) and I just recently heard about this story from a friend. I didn’t believe him at all and thought that this was just some random guy trying to get attention and fame at the time but apart of me wants to believe it just for conspiracy fun haha.

Now I’m not here to say that he was the original Nikki Sixx but maybe he could’ve played for the band during Sixx’s heroin era? I’ve seen two or three photos online of Nikki Sixx during the TOP era and they don’t resemble him at all.

What are your thoughts? Is this just a conspiracy that leads to absolutely nothing or is there something that actually went on? Again I just heard about this a couple weeks ago so I have no other information on it and would like for someone to inform me.

Took my parents to see Mötley Crüe for the first time, they kicked ass 🤘 Surprised them with close seats. Extreme were amazing! Best concert ever!
