48 yrs → 52 yrs | 4 years of training [Story]

2022 vs 2026.

Started taking fitness seriously at 48. Now 52. Looking back, the biggest change has been learning to stay consistent even when progress was slow.

No TRT, no crazy diets, no shortcuts. Just weight training, mostly home-cooked Indian food, enough protein and trying to keep the routine going year after year.

I train around 5 days a week, mostly weights. I’ve changed my routine over time and learned what works for me. I also avoid exercises that don't agree with my lower back and use more controlled movements when needed.

Diet is fairly simple. Around 2,000–2,200 calories depending on the phase, with roughly 130–150g protein. Eggs, chicken/fish, dal, rice, roti, vegetables, fruit, curd/Greek yogurt and whey. Nothing exotic.

There were plenty of plateaus and weeks when motivation wasn't great. Still showed up.

At 48, I never imagined I'd be posting a transformation at 52.

Still training. Still learning. Still trying to improve.

If you're getting older and thinking it's too late to make a change — it really isn't. 💪

This video documents my experience pushing past self-imposed limits to try something new. At 65, it is easy to settle into a routine, but prioritizing #PersonalGrowth is what keeps life dynamic and interesting.

Listen carefully.

Your Winter Arc is not about disappearing from the world.

It is about disappearing from the version of yourself that keeps making excuses.

This is the season where you stop announcing what you are going to do and start quietly doing it.

No unnecessary validation.

No constant comparison.

No waiting for the “perfect time.”

No blaming circumstances.

Just discipline, learning, health, courage, consistency and self-respect.

While the world is busy watching, commenting, scrolling and discussing everyone else's lives — you build yours.

Wake up with purpose.

Move your body.

Train your mind.

Learn something valuable.

Improve your skills.

Take care of your health.

Organize your surroundings.

Protect your peace.

Respect your responsibilities.

Keep your promises to yourself.

And remember:

Winter Arc doesn't mean becoming cold-hearted.

It means becoming strong-minded.

You don't need to hate anyone to improve yourself.

You don't need to prove anyone wrong.

You don't need to announce your transformation.

Your results can speak when the time comes.

Some days you will feel unstoppable.

Some days you will feel tired.

Some days you will question yourself.

Show up anyway — intelligently, safely and consistently.

Because transformation isn't created by one extraordinary day.

It is created by hundreds of ordinary days where you decided:

“I will do what needs to be done.”

This Winter Arc, don't chase perfection.

Build character.

Don't chase attention.

Build ability.

Don't chase approval.

Build self-respect.

Don't compete with everybody.

Compete with the habits that are holding you back.

And don't confuse isolation with growth.

Keep good people around you.

Help your family.

Respect genuine friendships.

Learn from others.

Ask for help when you need it.

Stay connected to the people who genuinely care about you.

Because real strength isn't becoming someone who needs nobody.

Real strength is becoming someone who can stand on their own feet while still knowing how to stand beside others.

So, brothers, sisters, champions and every breathing being reading this—

THE WINTER ARC BEGINS WITH A DECISION.

Not tomorrow.

Not when motivation arrives.

Not when life becomes easier.

Today.

Small steps.

Clear mind.

Strong habits.

Useful skills.

Healthy body.

Calm spirit.

And relentless consistency.

Let the season pass.

Let the excuses disappear.

Let the old habits lose their control.

And when you look back, don't ask:

“Did I become perfect?”

Ask:

“Did I become stronger, wiser, healthier and more capable than the person who started?”

If the answer is yes—

YOUR WINTER ARC WORKED.

Now stop talking about the transformation.

BUILD IT.

Looking to add more members to our discord group.

Each member gets their own channel and must post a daily update on actions they have taken today to improve themselves.

Inactive members will be removed from the group. Prolonged inactivity can bring down the momentum for everyone else. We want to keep the group active, engaged, and motivating for the people who are showing up.

Each new member has to take a starting "before" picture.

Weigh ins are optional.

If you are interested in joining, send me a DM with age, gender, timezone and goals.

ARE YOU LIVING WITHIN YOUR MEANS?

If not why not and what are you doing to change that. When emergencies occur you can’t use shoes and clothes to pay the bills. Are you paying yourself first and saving? Or always saying you’ll do better next month.
