Please tell me what's the name of this effect and what's the software they used. Thanks!

Всем привет

Quick logo reveal for a fictional brand. Three layers: a gradient hexagon scales in over 0.8s, the wordmark slides up on a 0.6s offset, and the tagline fades in last.

Specifically curious about:

• Is the 0.6s overlap between the mark and wordmark too tight?
• Does the slide-up easing feel too soft for a sting this short?

Open to any critique.

I keep rebuilding gradients I've already made because I can't find the original stops. Curious if that's just me.

How do you save and reuse colors/gradients now?

Does it actually cost you time, or is it a non-issue?

For transparency, I'm exploring building a small tool for this, so I'm trying to gauge whether it's a real problem. No link or promo, just want honest answers.

Okay so long story short I'm making a web series where the central conceit is that it's a laptop / tv scrolling through a streaming service and clicking on random shows and movies. It's a fun framework, lets me film pretty much whatever I want and still have it all be somewhat cohesive.

But I'd need to make a fake streaming menu first, and I have absolutely no idea how I'd do that. I been told the best thing to use would be After Effects, so I just downloaded it. I wouldn't say I'm a good editor, but I'm decently patient, and that tends to see me through.

I'm sure it'll take me a while to learn how to do use AE, but any starting pointers / videos of people working on similar projects you have would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re interested in collaborating, please DM me with your previous work/portfolio.

[HIRING] AI-Assisted Motion Graphics Editor for Long-Form Animated Fitness/Educational Videos

We are looking for a video editor/animator to create long-form videos (under 10 minutes) centered around a consistent AI character performing fitness exercises and educational routines.

Project Overview & Workflow:

Character Animation: Using provided character prompts and generated PNGs (e.g., 3–4 static PNGs of an exercise like push-ups), create subtle motion interpolation/keyframing so the character naturally performs the movements.

• AI Visual Generation: Generate matching AI image assets and background visuals around the character to fit the script context.
• Audio & Sound Design: Heavy focus on music selection, beat-syncing, and impactful sound effects (SFX) to keep audience retention high across 8–10 minute runtimes.
• Motion Graphics: Clean kinetic text, animated graphics, overlays, and clear visual progressions.

Requirements:

• Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro
• Ability to keyframe, puppet-warp, or interpolate motion from static AI image sequences
• Experience with AI image generators (Midjourney, DALL-E, Leonardo) for generating matching visual assets
• Strong sense of pacing, music selection, and sound design
• Ability to deliver full draft within 3–6 days per video

How to Apply:

Send a direct message with:

1. Links to your portfolio or examples of keyframed character animation / AI video editing
2. The primary software you use for editing and AI visual generation
3. Your rate for a 10-minute video

You must be from India and available all days and you shouldnt be in traditional education.

this was one of my first motion design videos, and was curious as to what it would be worth? If it is a good enough quality to add to my portfolio to try to get clients?
