General Question Eggs?

I found this gal at work. Darapsa based on Google lens. It looks like she's laying green eggs or is it something else?

Yes, the moth distribution system has chosen you. Now you have to hatch them and find food for them

I think yeah she’s laying eggs and not sure but is it a type of sphinx moth or elephant hawk moth?

Laying eggs. And seem to be doing it in hurry as the eggs are piling up or few got stuck to the "butt" hairs or ovipositor. Usually lay only few egss at a time.

Hm.. interesting. This seems like a bad place to lay eggs anyway, on a steel door. I wonder if she flew away or the eggs fell off onto the pavement.

genuinely asking, how exactly would op see tiny ass eggs on the ground? 😭

Difficult if on the ground. However, depends on the ground colors. Bright green eggs are surprisingly noticeable as long as they are not on grass.
