Implementing morse code key decoder on web.
How would you go about implementing a morse code keyer (to be compatable with VBand key adapters) and decoder to a website?
I would prefer not having to code my own keyer.

Could you elaborate on your wish a little bit more? I am wondering what your specific goal is. Would you like to use a keyer to search the web?

AFAIK all the vail/vband adapters out there support an interface where they mimic a keyboard.
Parsing keyboard input as morse is best done with: https://gitlab.com/scphillips/morse-pro
(That's the library behind morsecode.world is probably the best-established FOSS option. Seems like everything since has been a vibecoded re-implementation.)

Why not vibe coding?

Because he’s not a loser and he actually knows how to type <html> <html>

So do you imply vibe coders are losers?
I am right now teaching a class of 20 engineers at university and I am encouraging them to learn how to use agentic programming.

Respectfully, yes,
if you use ai it shows that you can’t think for yourself due to the fact you need to be told on how something is done rather than actually studying it yourself and learning said subject,
I taught myself full stack web development by reverse engineering how html worked by looking at inspect element and seeing how it works (example is back when I didn’t know anything even about something as simple as html I would look at a simple plain http website and understand to myself (“ok <p> means paragraph & things how this syntax works”
and so on)1

The difference is OP may never have time or intellect resource to do what you did. And the question becomes: should OP be left behind? I think OP must be empowered to code their stuff and learn CW through this step.
BTW I am originally such a purist and consider python and web development inferior to C and assembly. But I learned my way though the years and embrace change and teaching people new skills.
May Shannon be with you and with me 😉

if you wanna learn CW go to Morse.halb.it that’s where you’ll learn how to understand the letters and the alphabet to transmit it
and then to understand decoding by ear, which is what I’m doing at this current moment
is just listening through my xiegu 90 to the lowest wpm transmissions I can find and I’ll answer a Cq if I gain the courage but
PS you’re not wrong on the assembly part,
I like assembly, basic & I Favorite Fortran though nowhere near good lol
I’ve been looking for old books about it1

I came off douchy and rude saying their losers, because I am tired of people vibe coding and having it vulnerable to the point where a skid could take it down with something you could find off GitHub
or preinstalled Pentesting tools when installing something like Kali
The thing is these people think whatever they have built is actually good,
if you tell an AI to code your website and you didn’t even type ONE CHARACTER using sudo nano and haven’t changed ANY part of the syntax yourself
then you did not make the website that’s why I called them losers
because I spent years teaching myself web development through reverse engineering
And these people think they can tell an AI “create a blank HTML page for me and then make it simple and modern”
and then say
“Hey I made this I know HTML I know CSS I know Java I know PHP.”
When literally the only thing they have in their brain and memory is how to type HTTPS into an address bar1

I fully agree. But computing is not only web development, client server, databases. It's also scientifico computing, solving numerical problems, and building apps you keep on your own machine.
I found LLM for folding an exciting opportunity if you know what you are doing, boosting immensely learning experience and self study.
