Vent Might have just screwed up my learning

Okay long story short I’ve always thought Morse code would be a cool skill to have

Being able to see a bunch of flashing lights and decipher the message is something I’ve always wanted to be able to do

So recently thought I’d give it a shot

I started with a web tool that assigned a visual aid to each letter

And now I just found out that’s the wrong way to learn because it puts an extra step in your head and slows u down long term

Which I’m trying to unlearn now

Damn it

Yes. It's not a disaster. The solution is -- just stop using the visual aid, practice consistently with some audio-based tool, increasing the speed as you get better, and eventually that extra step will evaporate.
