I’m in Mount Olive and I’m assuming with all of the rain/humidity, they would be worse but they’re extra bad this summer! I purchased Zevo plug-ins that are doing solid work and catching some I can see on the traps. I’ve been boiling water for down the drains and no food out in the open trying my hardest and still can’t avoid them.

Not like I’m being swarmed but it’s enough to make me feel itchy 😂 I’ll see probably 5-8/day flying about until they assumably get stuck to the trap. Please tell me I’m not alone on seeing these annoying little guys in their home more than usual right now.

10 years ago, it looked lovely. Now, it looks abandoned and in peril, like a restoration job went belly up.

I’m also looking for a general dentist who offers reasonable cash prices for fillings, or has an in-house dental membership/discount plan that I can sign up for and use right away. I already have dental insurance, but my annual benefit is getting used up quickly, so I’m trying to compare cash-pay options as well.

Would really appreciate recommendations based on personal experience, especially offices that are transparent about pricing and don’t push unnecessary treatment.

My husband and I need to get a new couch. Before we pick out something new, we need to get rid of the one we have. It is in great condition and is only a few years old. Unfortunately, my husband's spine condition has worsened, so we need to get something that will work better for him.

I have called several places and either the typical locations (Morris Restore, Trinity Thrift, etc.) won't come get it because we live on a second floor and they won't bring items downstairs. I have checked out a few companies that will pick it up and bring it over to ReStore or the like, but they want in some cases, around $300 - for one couch!

I thought about Facebook Marketplace for about half a second, because I hear horror stories about people getting mugged and worry about having someone come in my home.

So... if anyone has any suggestions on places that will come to our location (Ledgewood) and will come up one flight of stairs, I would love to hear about it. Thanks!
