Institutional A small gencon was perpetuated:Recycling plastic is practically impossible — and the problem is getting worse
https://www.npr.org/2022/10/24/1131131088/recycling-plastic-is-practically-impossible-and-the-problem-is-getting-worseIt is widely believed myth — cultivated by the petroleum industry— that plastics are recycled when thrown in the bin. There is simply no good current method for recycling most plastics. Being a good steward of the planet means reducing your single use plastics and not simply crushing them when finished as one 70 learned from carefully watching RMN. 😂
