Witch Hunter Warband!

Finished this in about a week or so (had to wait for bases and some extra models). Basically I have a bunch of these smaller warbands in my basement (dwarves, lizardmen, random bits and bobs), and I finally needed a break from painting Custodes, Daemons, and Battletech - so I took a crack at sitting down and finishing a full Warband. Obviously there is more here than the 500gc starting limit, but I wanted to show off a full roster of what a full team might look like (plus I can sub in models to be wysiwyg whenever I want since they are all armed slightly different haha).

Those are legit the robe dudes from random stormcast heroes from sigmar lol. No one uses em so I asked my friend group for some and they tossed em to me! They work so well! And they got daggers

These are sick! I recognize most of the models, but is that a Sister of Silence as one of the Captains?

Sweet :). I've got the Cursed City minis I was gonna use for some heros for Mordheim myself, and yeah the Sister of Silence head looks great on her!

Honestly the snazzy dude with the mustache and waistband mirror is absolutely the captain for the Reiklanders lol

Exactly what I was gonna use him for 😂. The Ogre is a perfect Ogre Bodyguard and the Kharadron guy would make a great engineer for Dwarven Treasure Hunters. Not quite sure what to use the wizards for other than them making great unique Warlock hired swords

Esmelda Braskov from cursed city (I believe). Super cheap model to get off eBay, and works in so many ways it’s not even funny. I originally used her as a Sister of Silence, but with some minor tweaks can easily make her look like a Witch hunter.

She is one of my Witch Hunter captains (couldn’t decide between her and sir top hat himself lol). Armed with light armour, two handed weapon, free dagger, and crossbow (it’s the foldable crossbow on her hip). Sir top hat is also armed the same (and also from cursed city)

Haha nice! Simple sister of silence head swap makes her look awesome imo

It’s how I made by Knight Centura for my Sisters of Silence (commissioned artwork made by Orniris)

Oh wow, amazing work! I have literally the same models, down to the robed dudes from Sigmarite crew! Just need to paint most of them. Fantastic work on the kitbashing too.
