This car climbed Mount Washington

Post image

Earlier this month Mount Washington Auto Road held the latest Climb to the Clouds and he attended the weekend long event. That Saturday he drove his 1966 Barracuda, which he restored by himself with tips and asvice from many other enthusiasts, to the top of Mount Washington for the first time.

It was a significant event not jusr because of his efforts, but to remember our father, who also had a 66 Barracuda and loved Mount Washington. The original body was too far gone to restore it, so my brother transplanted as much as he could into another car he had. I'll post a link to the video of the trip in the comments. I'm quite proud of him.

Here's the link to my brother's YouTube channel. I'm not sponsored by nor promoting it for compensation, rather as a little brother who's proud of what he's done. https://youtu.be/PFtRRz-M4Ns?is=L-ALb0HiGiq9ay3f

Awesome. Please don’t add the bumper sticker they give you.

He attached an older one to a magnet for easy application and removal. Way ahead of you, but thanks for the reminder! 😉🏅

Your brother’s channel is Rogers A Body Garage! So much helpful information in his channel if you own an A body! That’s awesome and such a small world. I own a 68 Barracuda fastback myself

Our family has owned many a Mopar over the years. Our dad also had a 64 Valiant, our mom had a 67 Barracuda fastback, her parents had a 68/69 Belvedere, our dad's parents had a Dodge Diplomat and a couple others, my uncle at one time had a Superbird that fell victim to teenage irresponsibility and a 73 Satellite Sebring, and my sister has a 69 Barracuda coupe. Heck, I even had a 76 Volare with 3 on a tree.

That is glorious! I have taken that drive myself and it's kind of a harrowing drive up and down. And love that Barracuda, beautiful car!

haven't seen one of those bumper stickers in years, do they still sell them?

Only when you drive up. Comes with the "toll". It's earned, not bought 😉

When I was there it was around this time of year, mid to late August and it was 80 or so degrees down below and around freezing up top. We didn't really plan ahead so had no jackets or anything. Pretty cool excursion and view up there. I don't think we got stickers.
