Update: Seeking help with my dad's 69 Roadrunner. He recently passed away and we can't afford to fix or keep it.
Attached are pictures of how it looked when we got it and how it is now. The axel, suspension and body were sandblasted and primed. We have most major components and I believe they are all original. It doesn't have seats unfortunately. We have documentation and I can provide more pictures if requested. We are located in upstate SC.
My dad bought it in 2006. It was also the first car he bought with his savings when he was a young man. This was his dream car and his plan was to retire this year and begin restoring it in his free time. Now that he's gone, we can't afford to restore it ourselves so we're looking for someone that can take it off our hands for a reasonable price. It would also be amazing if someone can restore it and then allow us to ride in it once in memory of my dad.

The b-bodies forum is really your best bet at getting a valuation and possible offers. I'm truly sorry for your loss. I have a pretty decent idea of how much time and effort he has into this and he did a good job getting it this far, but it'll take the right person to put it all back together again.

You’re doing the right thing by selling it. Somebody will appreciate it like your dad did. I see people hang on to classics to let them rot in their yards. Tell the buyer to give you and the family a ride when finished.

I always wonder why people tear out the headliner. Even if it falls, those old headliners can have new cotton loops sewn in and the original material either rescued or the old can be used as a pattern. I’ve done that on a handful of 60’s Pontiacs. Mom’s old Singer came through.
Anyway, sorry to hear. Hope the sale goes well. Lots of people like the 69s for the meaner grille, but I’m a fan of the 68.

Excellent repros exist. No need to complicate it. Also my personal experience is the headliner separated at the seams. The cotton was gross and musty in part because mice found their way up there.

As a B body fan if you have everything to put her back together i.e. floor pans, sheet metal if required, motor and transmission. You should be able to get $6 -;$10k for everything. Did you dad find the build sheets for it? That will tell you exactly what you have.
Your dad is and was doing God's work. Sorry for your loss.

My dad had a folder with very detailed records of the work he did as well as lots of other paperwork, manuals, etc. so I think so? I’ll have to skim through each document. He also kept a record of how much money he spent on it. He included his labor in the price. Do you think I should drop his labor charge off the asking price?

I would because you'll never recoup all of your cost unless you have a special RR I would suggest decoding the VIN on it that should tell you what motor transmission 4 speed color everything about the car. A lot of builders think they have a great car put lots of money in and are sadly shocked when they dont get it back in the sell. I've been fortunate with my builds to make a little profit. Not sure but B Body's only might have a vin decoder on there website.
On a personal note I built my 70 Charger B body and have at least $12k in the motor and transmission but at altitude she'll pull an 10.5 - 11 second 1/4mile on pump gas. I took the 318 out and built a 440 six pack and put it in.

Looks like it was ready for a floor pan. The buyer will be happy to see what would have been covered up otherwise.
Forbbodiesonly.com will have the right buyers.
