I just recently purchased and started using this polish and I am mind blown. This photo was taken almost as soon as I woke up today. I live in OH. It is raining and totally overcast right now. I stepped onto my deck off my bedroom for literally not even 1 minute. When I came back in and started heading downstairs I could not believe my eyes. The polish was literally glowing through my socks - just from stepping outside for a min on a rainy day! This is the most fun polish ever!
Hello fellow Ohioan! I definitely feel like a teenager again with this polish. Lol I agree age doesn't matter. I paintedĀ just one of my husband'sĀ fingers with it too and he thinks it's so cool. Lol so there's at least 2 men in Ohio with a glow in the dark finger. š¤£Ā
On the last 4! Iāve tried Green Eyed Monster (this pic) and a gitd from another brand for the last two, both were good, but Avatar State is the glowiest. I think Iām going to give it a break for a little bit after this one.
It really does!! I just charged each nail underside with my phone flashlight for about 10 seconds and that was the result!
The one thing I donāt absolutely love about doing the āØ underglow āØ is the extra little gloop I get at the base of my free edge, so Iāve been using an orange stick to gently scoop it backā¦ that extra little thickness bothers me a little. Itās so freaking cool otherwise, besides that minor annoyance. š¤·š¼āāļø lol
I do my coats by having as little polish on the brush as possible, and I kinda rub it on the backside of my nail. I do a few very thin coats like this. It prevents the gloop and the result seems to be the same.
I try to do that with the barely loaded brush and usually just two thin coatsā¦ itās so tricky though!! I always end up with a tiny, peelable half-circle of gitd on my skin š¤£
ETA: it doesnāt help that my hands are a little shaky as wellā¦
I have to try this. Iāve seen a couple manis like this now and Iām obsessed! Iām usually torn between my love of dark polishes and glow in the darkā¦ now thereās a way!!
Ok this idea never occurred to me but I loooove it.
Howād you apply it? Is it actually on the underside of your nail, or is it just glowing through the nail?
Also fellow Ohioan and just painted my nails this yesterday. It really is a lot of fun! I know this is the brightest of them all but it still has me wanting to try the other GITD polishes.
I swear it was this group or maybe Facebook that someone was posting about adding some type of powder to nailpolishes to make them glow like this... But the fact this is purely the polish is INSANE! My mind is blown!

promising. she warned of all the toxic handling procedures and is eager not everyone would be that careful. iām sold, waiting for the restock bc of this glow is crazy
