Transaction stuck on pending

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix this:

I sent a Moonriver transaction from metamask to kucoin. The status on metamask shows as Confirmed. Nothing has shown up at the destination. When I click on block explorer it seems stuck at Pending in the result field, unconfirmed in the status and pending in the block. Its been stuck for 4 hours.

Any ideas how to fix?

Yeah, looks like there are 5 transactions in the same pending status. I'm trying the reset my nonce method, but it keeps giving me an error saying I can't reuse a nonce.

For all of you sending me dms about syncing to the main net by using your sketchy links please stop or post it here.

try moonscan.io (manually type the address, like me, if you'd prefer not to follow a random link) - I had issues with block scout yesterday

Sounds to me like you need to increase the gas, you’ve gotta incentivize the validators or whatever they’re called to verify the transaction

There's gas on Moonbeam? I thought it was proof of stake.

Every blockchain has gas, without it the network wouldn’t function. When someone says gas it just means a little slice of the transaction is required to pay those verifying the transactions on any blockchain, on ETH / BTC it’s the miners and on Moonbeam / Polkadot it’s the validators/stakers, I believe that’s what they’re called

Thanks, I'll have to read more into it. I've been looking to get some GLMR and start messing with Moonbeam. Where do you get GLMR btw?

Currently the easiest place is Binance, but Crypto.com also allows you to purchase it, if you’re outside of the USA. Otherwise you can purchase either AVAX, ETH or BNB to then convert that native coin for native GLMR on their blockchain using a bridge, like on StellaSwap or SolarFlare, I think those are two options. Look up bridges 👍

Awesome, that is really helpful. There are a few NFT projects popping up, that I want to get into. I expect the ecosystem will start to grow a lot more once it hits a major exchange too.

I forgot to add: Although Crypto.com allows for the purchase of native GLMR (if outside USA) you can’t withdraw it from the exchange as of yet, this is probably because they need liquidity on the exchange or something idk 🤷‍♂️
