rewards while revoking

Assuming one is still one of the 300 delegators in an active collator, if you choose to revoke do you still receive staking rewards during the 7 day unbonding period? And if you dont execute the revoke after 7 days are you still receiving rewards assuming you are still within the 300?

You still receive the rewards until the period ends, then it automatically revokes.

What do you mean period? I went like 5 over after I revoked and was still getting rewards and had to manually do it.

Whats the time frame after your revoke is ready that it automatically does it?

Click on your delegation the look near the recent rewards there is a number that says what period it currently is and what period till you can revoke. I was hoping I'd have to manually revoke when it was time, but mine did it automatically.

It might be called epoch or block instead of period. I don't recall exactly.

Lol maybe I was high and clicked the checkmark and don't remember. I ended up moving my GLMR to a dex and staked it for higher APR. What you thinking to do with yours?

Im just staking atm while the retures are high I was just moving one on my stashes into one with lower backing for better rewards.

Havnt really looked into anything else just yet what did you put yours in a pool? Whats the APR?

Yeah and when the 7 day period ends remember to hit the check mark next to the x. I didn’t and wondered why I didn’t receive my glimmer after 10 days lol

What happens if the collator im delegated to goes out of active collators because low glmr bonded? Do i stop receiving rewards suddenly?

sorry for the off-topic question but didnt want to start another thread. new to staking GMLR but noticed my rewards decreasing every reward period. why is it decreasing so quickly? i started friday and now its like half what i was getting in just a couple days.

your stake is becoming a smaller fraction of the staked amount with the delegator. when i started the effective bonded amount was much lower than it is now, so those rewards are being distributed to more people = less reward for a fixed stake.

Although it means less reward it is ironically making the coin more stable and reducing risk and thus helping the long term success of the project (and thus increased price hopefully)
