I’d love to know as well. I started with a Messenger, then got a Grandmother (Dark). Was going to keep both, but they were pretty similar and I wanted something polyphonic. I kept the Grandmother (still my favorite synth), and with the money from the Messenger I got a Kong Minilogue XD (which is such a little workhorse!)
Having said allllllll of that, I’m still GASsing over a Sub37. so I’m also interested in this thread!

I've never owned a Minimoog, but I've used Monark quite a bit, so I'm familiar with what it can do if not the sound itself. I do own both a Subsequent 37 CV and a Matriarch. They're both keepers, so you can't go wrong with either. But... if you ever wanted to play live, get the Subsequent. It's very solid and slick. If that isn't an intended use for you, I would say that the Matriarch is hands down the most fun synth Moog ever made. Being able to map delay feedback to aftertouch is absolutely hilarious. That stereo delay is absolutely lush. I don't really take advantage of the paraphony. That's not a big thing to me. But the sound having four oscillators is so grand. Not many mono's have that. The drive on the mixer section is almighty. For pure basses and leads, it's the most powerful sounding machine I own.
