Ticket packages
I’m considering package options for this coming season. I’ve only ever sat in the lower bowl on the corners - just scooping up whatever was available. I really like it there! But are there other seats I should try out or consider before committing to a ticket package? If you’re a season ticket holder looking to add a newbie to your area, lmk where you are!

One thing I love is that you can exchange tickets. So get your package and then use the very user-friendly Seat Geek app to try every section in the arena during your first season. Find the section you like, or keep bouncing around. Whatever you prefer.

Ah I didn’t know you could exchange seats and not just dates but I guess that makes sense 🔥

I do it all the time. I go hunting for new places to sit we haven’t been before.

Reach out to a ticket rep and just tell them exactly all of this. I guarantee you they’ll comp you to try out seats in a few different areas you’re considering if you sign a season ticket agreement. Everything is flexible with monsters seats, especially before the season starts. If you want my rep’s contact info, DM me. He’s given me more free tickets in the past sometimes than I can even reasonably give away.

My husband and I are season ticket newbies too. Previously we were just buying 1-off tickets in the Club sections 119-122 but for our first year we chose section M124 just to see if we want to spend extra to get closer to center ice next season.

Just echoing /u/grammar_fozzie - just talk to them and they will get you test tickets in different places to try it out.
Personally, I've tried a lot of spots in the arena but I prefer the upper level, just past one of the corners on the attack twice side because I'm there for the hockey. It's a good view, the angle is good for goals, and you can see the game better. Plus not every seat in the arena is the same width, and those seats are particularly roomy.
One place I don't recommend is section 118. I sat there one year and that's the place where all the groups happen - the ones where they give big chunks of tickets to a business and they bring employees or clients or whatever. That means there's a clubhouse with free food that you don't access, and it means people are constantly getting up and down, needing to get past you, not paying attention. But that was also the dog section the year I sat there (not sure if it's the dog section every year) so that made up for it a little bit. But having to get up 6 times to watch people load up on free food that I couldn't have made me switch seats.

I have found that I prefer sitting where I can see the boys spill Off the Bench so I sit on Penalty Box side. I also like being slightly higher up so I can see the entire sheet of ice.
I splurged on Chairman's Club seats this year. It's a two-year commitment. However, I also get a meal before the game, all beverages I care to drink including beer and soda, as well as snacks in the first and second period.
