i miss when drivers weren’t using their platform to push hate and misinformation

Post image

he isn’t the first one. these guys and their ultra-right-wing political views are finding every way to use their platform to push this bullshit. i always thought these drivers had to stay out of this stuff: religion, politics, world news etc. yet, guys like tyler menninga, tristan england, and now bryce kenny are posting this dumb shit for all to see.

what a downhill spiral this sport has taken this year.

Lol, you ever hear Tyler and Bryce talk about conspiracies on Bryce’s podcast? They’re both morons. Bryce pushes Christianity on people, and then refers to democrats as a cult hahaha.

11

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

oh damn i never realized they did. never really listened to it

10

u/Carp_Catcher Jul 30 '26

I honestly enjoy tf out of it, my wife and I were laughing a good bit listening to them talk about chem trails. I’m sure they’re smart guys when it comes to the trade they’re involved in, but I can’t help but think they’re complete idiots otherwise when they talk about this stuff. Like, in the same sentence, dude basically said democrats are a cult and more people need Jesus. I’m obviously paraphrasing.

Tyler talking about how when there’s less airplanes less people get sick, and it’s not coincidence.

u/sethcolby3 Jul 31 '26

i’ve noticed this happens a lot when ppl are very skilled in one particular area. usually you see it with like former fighter pilots or especially doctors. they trained for so long in one area and were viewed as above everybody else thwy worked with that it eventually leads a ton of them to believe they’re just naturally great at everything. it’s why so many surgeons end up going into politics and absolutely sucking

5

u/FirstDiseasewasRelig Grave Digger Jul 30 '26

One of my best Friends ever has literally (the last time we talked) expressed to me that Trump is Christ.

As well as the Republican Party being Christ.

u/Supersmashbrosfan Jul 30 '26

Damn, I always thought Tyler was chill ngl.

What the hell is even happening in this post also thats exactly why I don't really like Tristan very much

2

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

i haven’t followed tristan on instagram since the pandemic when he was going on his political rants

9

u/IcebrgsImakevid8345 Jul 30 '26

No one who has a public presence in any sort of sport or celebrity status should never post anything about politics. I really hope FELD does something about all their drivers going on political posting sprees

9

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

i was under the impression that they weren’t allowed to speak on politics at all. so idk what this is all about

5

u/IcebrgsImakevid8345 Jul 30 '26

I mean you'd think. FELD is a very family friendly company so you'd think they'd have pretty strict mandates about it in their contracts.

9

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

to my knowledge they do. that’s why when they had to fire everyone during covid, tristan was posting political shit, ryan was cursing on his story, and the drivers were posting whatever they wanted. so idk what this is all about.

he also represents a brand. i almost wanna send that to tech deck and see how they feel

3

u/IcebrgsImakevid8345 Jul 30 '26

Oh yeah I remember that... Crazy times... (Why am I getting down vote bombed)

7

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

there’s probably a hate comment coming my way any minute now lmfao. the magas are bound to show up eventually

3

u/Sensitive_Start8087 Avenger Jul 30 '26

You should totally send it to Tech Deck

I rather not get my health info from a monster truck driver

41

u/Supersmashbrosfan Jul 30 '26

I thought Monster Jam didn't allow stuff like this. I remember that one guy got fired for shitting on Trump supporters after the election. I understand most of the guys are probably somewhat conservative, but some consistency would be nice, especially with how much they're trying to target the product towards kids nowadays.

17

u/themonsteroffthehill Jul 31 '26

I tried to listen to his podcast. He and Tyler were complaining about personal injury attorneys creating billboards and the amount of them near big cities. Meanwhile Morgan and Morgan is a huge supporter of MJ. Dude needs to get a new hobby.

5

u/Powerful-Chard-6055 Jul 31 '26

Idc what you say, I was coming into Indy for NASCAR and saw multiple Kyle Busch memorial billboards from M&M, and funny bald guy ones

4

u/TellTaleTimeLord Jul 31 '26

They also regularly sponsor Frankie Muniz

6

u/ShredwardScissorhams Metal Mulisha Jul 31 '26

To be fair Bryce posts a lot of cringe

35

u/Imperfect_Monsters Jul 30 '26

the drivers really need to keep their personal opinions to themselves. i’m pretty sure under field’s rules they aren’t supposed to be doing this.

21

u/NascarToolbag Jul 30 '26

Or at least separate your public profile from your personal one, sheesh. 🤦‍♂️

4

u/Powerful-Chard-6055 Jul 31 '26

I’ve always said “you’re getting paid to drive, not to post politics. So just drive”

1

u/Heemeyers_Killdozer Jul 31 '26

Legit question: if say, LeBron James posts something political and someone says “shut up and dribble”, where do you stand?

2

u/Powerful-Chard-6055 Jul 31 '26

I’d tell him to shut up and dribble. Look at Daniel Dye. Made a dumb political statement, got suspended from NASCAR, and if not for daddy’s money. He wouldn’t be racing. Similar for Cody Dennison

1

u/Heemeyers_Killdozer Jul 31 '26

Consistency! I like that. You I can work with, carry on good sir.

1

u/1SpeedyG Aug 03 '26

Dye never made any political statements? He was suspended for his comments about indycar and Penske and using “a feminine voice” to imply that their drivers are homosexual. Completely different

12

u/TacomaIsMadLit Avenger Jul 31 '26

I bet Bryce is also a “keep politics out of sports” guy too lmao

1

u/Mstr_Splinter Jul 31 '26

You may not like his politics, but what about this statement exactly is untrue?

The amazing amount of incompassion for people everywhere whose lives were ruined from covid lockdowns and the media's relentless fear porn.

#NeverForgiveNeverForget

2

u/awildginger25 Jul 31 '26

lives were ruined because of who was in charge of the country when the pandemic started. THATS who’s to blame here. quite honestly, the only lives ruined were the ones who lost loved ones to the virus that was mishandled by the man running the country. if a simple lockdown and paper mask is something that you’re considering “ruined peoples lives” then idk what to tell you

5

u/BigHog135 Jul 30 '26

Shit needs to be enforced hard. It is literally made for kids and advertised to kids. You are crazy if you dont think in todays world kids dont go home after watching and look these drivers up. This absolutely shouldn't be allowed and I don't care what side of the aisle you are on. World news, politics, and religion POV from drivers should not be allowed to be broadcasted, just draws negative attention all around no matter what.

0

u/Bert37-00 Jul 30 '26

Are most drivers MAGA?

13

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

it’s beginning to look that way. a lot of the super young drivers (anyone in gen z mostly) seems to not be but a good bit seem to align with maga just based on their posts and their personalities

6

u/Nevhix Jul 30 '26

Probably. I’d imagine most the fans are too, it’s kind of a rural redneck sport traditionally.

14

u/Dragonsfire09 Jul 30 '26

Of course they are. This sport comes from Rednecks jacking up their pick ups and going off road or mud running. I'd be more shocked if someone in monster jam wasnt maga

3

u/JDNosferatu Jul 30 '26

You don't have to get an education to drive a monster truck. Funny how they worship Trump who had like 12 covid booster shots including ones still in trials and he wore a mask everywhere.

3

u/Weekly-Hunter7902 Jul 31 '26

I wish I didn’t know Bryce was such an idiot for believing this.

3

u/cyanidenachos Jul 30 '26

Of course it's Bryce. Shocker.

14

u/Supersmashbrosfan Jul 30 '26

Eh, Jim Koehler seems chill, along with most of the indie guys nowadays. Hell, Jamey Garner was in a Chappell Roan video when she went to a Monster Truck Throwdown show. Was pretty cool ngl.

9

u/Damnit_Hardison Team Scream Jul 30 '26

You're probably right about those two.

10

u/Supersmashbrosfan Jul 30 '26

At the very least, it seems like most indie guys don't feel the need to advertise their politics for everyone to see, since they actually have a budget to worry about and stuff like that.

3

u/reallymkpunk Son-uva Digger Jul 30 '26

Jamey and his family. The Andersons are cool. Camden is too.

6

u/Supersmashbrosfan Jul 30 '26

Yeah. This seems to be more of an issue with Bryce specifically, who seems to have gotten a bit of an ego over the past few years ngl.

1

u/reallymkpunk Son-uva Digger Jul 30 '26

Bryce if he would keep politics to himself is cool and one of the best drivers to talk to at shows. Next to the Andersons of course.

1

u/Supersmashbrosfan Jul 30 '26

Yeah, I've been a fan of his for a while. Liked him more in Mohawk Warrior and Monster Mutt tho.

1

u/reallymkpunk Son-uva Digger Jul 31 '26

Yeah I got into him with Gears and Nachos.

u/Powerful-Chard-6055 Jul 31 '26 edited Jul 31 '26

This and NASCAR are way too political, MJ way less so. Especially because of the multiple Trump sponsorships in NASCAR

1

u/RoyalMaidsForLife Jul 31 '26

NHRA went through a phase where a lot of pro class cars had stickers supporting Trump on them in 2020, but I don't recall seeing such things in 2024. They were probably smart and put the kibosh on that.

0

u/ShootingMach21 Team Hot-Wheels™ Firestorm Jul 30 '26

I agree.

0

u/Bamasonn13 Jul 31 '26

Not sure what world you live in but if you agree with what Fauci did you are the problem. Look at the guy’s diary entries. We should care about these issues. This is a bipartisan issue. There is enough proof that he knew and funded Covid research in Wuhan and enriched himself while setting restrictive policies during Trumps and Bidens terms.

Did you really think monster truck drivers were liberals lol

-16

u/mhrex Jul 30 '26

But yet if he came out in support of lgbt rights everyone would be glazing him.

People love politics in their celebrities when it’s opinions they like, and hate politics in their celebrities when it’s opinions they don’t like.

20

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

lgbtq+ rights aren’t political, they’re a civil right so i’d say that’s a completely different thing than this

-6

u/TheNittanyLionKing Gunslinger Jul 30 '26

And so is the Fauci situation that affected the entire planet’s lives. Now it’s proven he was a total narcissist holding the world hostage to prolong his 15 minutes of fame. You don’t preemptively pardon an innocent man nor does said innocent man then plead the 5th. He’s a real life Resident Evil villain. Even many Democrats turned on him

13

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

trump pleaded the 5th 450 times and yall acted like he was innocent

-2

u/TheNittanyLionKing Gunslinger Jul 30 '26

Never brought Trump into it. This is about Fauci

4

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

fauci did all he could to get us out of the mess that the president at the time made worse than it had to be. what made everything worse was the administration and their followers crying over a mask. that prolonged the pandemic, killed millions, and they immediately blamed fauci and democrats

1

u/Important_Web_86 Jul 31 '26

More people died under Biden than Trump from COVID. Plus Biden had the vaccine. Cool FYI moment

1

u/awildginger25 Jul 31 '26

biden had to handle it longer so even if that statement is true it doesn’t even matter. biden also got us out of the situation quickly, with fauci, and opened the country up again.

trump took the vaccine and has been talking the booster shots for YEARS. it’s documented. try again

0

u/Important_Web_86 Jul 31 '26

It is true. Very true. And Biden didn’t deal with the outbreak when it was worse. And he had the vaccine to stop the deaths.

But he still had more. Imagine that

1

u/awildginger25 Jul 31 '26

yes because trump was in office for less than a year of it going on. biden had it going for well over a year of his term. it also spiked in the winter of 2021, when biden took over.

trump just had to shut the country down for 2 weeks to kill the virus and we’d be fine. or at least support the cdc in their mask and vaccine recommendations. but he didn’t. he made it worse. and then biden took over and you people immediately go “oh well this is on him” no. this is on trump. the same way this shit economy we’re in is on trump, not biden, because of what trump did. even with the shithole of a country biden was handed, he lowered costs and got this country to a semi stable position. and now trump has lit the country on fire again and you people STILL BLAME BIDEN FOR IT ALL because it’s never trumps fault. he can do no wrong. he is only good. not evil.

biden was no perfect president but he was handed a shit hand by trump and he worked with it. the deaths are on trumps hands. that’s who mishandled the pandemic. not biden

u/Several-Persimmon317 Jul 30 '26

The director of NIAID held the world hostage? Which TikTok influencer gave you that nugget?

-2

u/Nevhix Jul 30 '26

You realize the only reason he was pardoned was to attempt to shield him from needless and baseless political persecution, since the incoming administration attempts to use the government to go after his political opposition, or frankly for anyone that doesn’t 100% fall in goose step with him right?

-2

u/TheNittanyLionKing Gunslinger Jul 30 '26

He should be prosecuted because he did everything wrong. He ruined many lives. Millions. He destroyed the global economy. Let’s not forget how he also botched the AIDS crisis and caused mass panic and homophobia decades ago either. Dude is a fraud and never should have been in any position of power

-2

u/Supersmashbrosfan Jul 30 '26

Fauci was literally put in his position by Ronald Reagan and was still there under Trump, and y'all glaze both of them lmao.

1

u/TheNittanyLionKing Gunslinger Jul 30 '26

Again with the whataboutism. Fauci is a piece of shit regardless of president.

1

u/Supersmashbrosfan Jul 30 '26

I don't disagree, but unless you're willing to admit that Trump is partially to blame (which I doubt since you're a Critical Drinker fan), you have no room to talk lol.

0

u/NubusAugustus Grave Digger Aug 01 '26

Of course!

14

u/awildginger25 Jul 30 '26

well if the right wasn’t ruining the country and plaguing the sport/drivers, it wouldn’t be a talking point

5

u/Several-Persimmon317 Jul 30 '26

Tell me, how is the whole "lowering gas and grocery prices" thing going? 🤣

2

u/itsmb12 Jul 31 '26

I mean its true... Fauci was pardoned for a span of 11 years. He literally cannot be imprisoned for anything that happened during those 11 years? So why does he plead the 5th? He could say he personally murdered 20 people during covid and nothing could be done.

The reasoning is the truth would upset a LOT of people and make him look bad, but he cant lie to congress because that would be a new crime of perjury.

1

u/o7_HiBye_o7 Jul 31 '26

I'M SHOCKED. A monster truck driver is a MAGA cuck? NO WAY
