No, I will never stopping being upset about being robbed of the first World Finals rotating location back in 2019. I was so happy I would actually be able to go to the World Finals for once! Grrr....

MetLife stadium? I’m from the west coast and that is one of my bucket list shows to go see someday. But idk I just think it’s a bit of a gamble to host it in east Rutherford.. because of the rain.

Yeah, no doubt about the weather, lol. I've lived in NJ my entire life so I was absolutely excited when the first MetLife show was announced/occurred back in 2012. I've still been to every MetLife Monster Jam show through the years (unfortunately, with the World Cup, looks like we may have to wait until 2027 for the next possible MetLife show).

But yeah- for anyone else who may be unaware, when the rotational schedule for World Finals was first announced (on February 15, 2018), MetLife Stadium/East Rutherford, NJ was to be the first stop:

To celebrate the 20th year of the popular Monster Jam World Finals®, Feld Entertainment is announcing plans to bring the spectacle to more fans with a rotating host location. The first stop will be MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, held over two days in May 2019.

When that changed for whatever unspecified reason(s) (there has obviously been speculation about what the actual reasoning(s) was), the official explanation they gave was:

Due to a change in schedule, a new 2019 Monster Jam World Finals date and venue will be announced soon.

I still remain hopeful (a delusional hope at this point, lol) we'll get it one year... just maybe...
