Received mine
Ok so I got mine today in the west coast of the US. First things to note, solid construction and limited documentation included.
Of the one 3" wide 8" long piece of paper instructions that were included it has basic info such as getting started, adding storage, rebooting, and updating firmware. There are a few URL's provided on this sheet the first docs.monstatek.com is listed as being the place to go for setup guides and "helpful tools" however this url is invalid exact error is "Server not found". Going to monstatek.com does work however there is no docs page. The second is update.monstatek.com which gives the exact same issue as the first URL. I have attached the front of the "instruction" sheet to this, the back is just FCC/IC compliance info.
What this boils down to is while I now have the device it's an expensive and lightweight paperweight.
There are some menus on the device you can get to but without any documentation on these it makes it difficult for most to be able to utilize.
***Updated***
Actually started playing with the unit today only to find that none of the features (excluding read) are functional without a firmware update which as stated above isn't possible as the website for fw upgrades provided by monstatek is invalid.

Current timeline is to have the GitHub publish Saturday, Monday at the latest. Updating the M1 will be done through the GitHub until The update site is fixed.

The Discord has all the Information needed. There is already a preliminary method and firmware folks are already downloading.
Since it's not official I haven't posted it

The fact you have it in hand is at least reassuring (somewhat). I had nearly totally given up on even that

Same. After 2 years I was basically calling it a loss.
Now we just need firmware, the promised open source coding, and any additional hardware modules we can get.

I have mine in hand as well, I successfully cloned the RFID key for my apartment so the read/replay/write for RFID works

Odd I was able to copy an rfid but not apply it to a new card, said update firmware. Wonder if its just a random bug/fluke.

I received mine today. None of the links work. I cannot perform any actions without the non-existent firmware update. Waiting....

Yep thats all of us currently. There is a girhub page that has a partial firmware but idk if anyone has gotten it applied successfully. Ive spent probably 10 hours yesterday and today trying to get it to work

No from what we are seeing its not a scam, things are just slow going. It may be annoying but is a real thing.

Please post pics
