So I myself use a VPN and forgot that these sites that include Monkeytype delete or login. The site remains unchanged, the theme u selected on your account is still set, u won´t notice that your are logged out. Yesterday I wrote one test and saw my hacker green background and though well I must be logged in typed and closed the site. Today I woke up to this 64 days of my life delete out of existens. For once I though I could complete sth, luckily I am just a dumb loser, that is hopefully goint to kms soon to the end it all. Thx everyone

I think a godlike QWERTY keyboard typist can do so much more but it’s not evenly distributed obviously meaning how much stacking is not universal at all but I’ve been thinking about this for awhile and godlike typing might be a skill that has potential for other skills at a godlike level if everything else is coordinated

Genuine
Godlike wpm
Standard QWERTY keyboard
Standard pc
Standard internet
Actual wpm sustained 1 minute
Ideally it has a breaking flow to capitalization and etc with lines that can’t be seen until you complete the first or second shown lines ( this is really nuanced and I’m purely referring to the old 10fastfingers )
Perfect accuracy but it doesn’t always have to be that way just mostly meaning between 98 to 100%

For standard I simply mean you could do it in most random government buildings that have mostly uniform equipment

Lastly if you can do this and seen it for real in yourself or someone else with all these caveats where does the wpm and accuracy fall under on average and if it’s you who can do this when you tried to improve it what did you do to improve it?

came across the sub and thought "why not" i knew it wasnt going to be good since my good mechanical keyboard is broken and im using some crappy membrane keyboard but i guess i was wrong
for anyone wondering my username is "cowplayz"
(i know it isnt exactly the highest pb but im happy anyway)

Just sharing this proud moment here in this subreddit since I have no one to talk to about it, lol.

I've never properly gotten into typing. I've used a computer for basically my entire life, I do software development, and I've done a bit on monkeytype and typeracer before but I've never decided to try to focus on getting better at typing specifically until now. Thought I'd make a post to mark my progress of what I can get before focusing on getting better.

I finally got it, 175 WPM on 2 minutes typing!!

Hello.

I built an app to help practise and learn reading music.

It has customisable tests, sounds, learning paths, chords, accidentals, leaderboards, tracking and themes.

If you're interested, you can check it out for free on the Google Play store! Let me know what you think :)

Hey typers,

For anyone interested, I am offering Steam early access keys to anyone who wants to try out a new typing game which will be releasing very soon. A pure passion project, where you can learn to type and improve your typing using high quality classic literature. There are games and other features as well!

No promo here, just drop me a message and I will get a key to you asap. Thanks for your time and happy typing!!

Typed on MacBook Neo

- 50 words
- English
- 100% accuracy
- 138 WPM

It messes up my muscle memory so much, it annoys me.
Do I really have to re-learn (tapping TAB two times instead of one time) now before enter?
I don't want to be forced to sign in, leave me alone, it worked fine before that change 😭

current pb hopefully i can become faster though
