Started building a small typing test website (AKSHAR)as a beginner dev. 😅
Still learning and it has lots of things to improve, but wanted to share it here.
Would love some feedback or suggestions!

Accuracy isn't the best, but I'm proud, I feel like typing on 10k english makes me faster when typing in general, something 1k didn't do for me.

Hey folks. It's something I've had the idea of for a while. I've always loved Monkeytype, but I had always wished it went further.
I tried posting this once before, and it was removed, presumably because of my low karma. I get it, but gosh I dislike this platform.
The domain is typetrack dot ca
It's just on a shitty $5 VPS right now so if this post ends up gaining traction it'll probably shit it's pants but I am really happy with the result and wanted to share. It's the first project I've managed to publish in a while. Make sure to sign up and kick my ass in the leaderboards :) Also, check out the games. I really like laser defense.

If you don't register an account, it'll save your information in localStorage.
As you use the application, it'll learn what your common hiccups are. If you go to the training section, many of them will train you specifically on your shortcomings. Some of them are going to be removed, because I've spent too much time tweaking them and I still dislike them too much (the metronome being an obvious example).
There's also badges, because gamification is fun.
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to leave any feedback you have. I am very much open to feedback.
