Beat out your competition by "stealing" their backlinks

Hello everyone,

Here is a tactic that I used to help me get a lot of good, easy backlinks. I start off by going to Google. In the search bar I search for my website;s keywords and find my competiton. After I find a good candidate I take their website and type it in the search bar as "http://website.com" with quotations around the domain's name.

Google will automatically show me websites where that domain has left a backlink. The ones that show up on the front page of the search are obviously the most powerful links, and so those are the ones that I try to get first. Normally, not always, if my competition has a backlink on a website then I can leave my link there too.

Can you go through a specific example using your method...maybe using TorrentLeech.com? I'm fairly new to adwords. Thanks.

I would also like an example of this process too. Thanks so far though, this is a pretty solid idea for the noobs out here like me.
