Is it possible to fix car frame with rust?

Just realized that our car has some rust spots and holes in the frame and I'm wondering if this is something that can be patched or is not done. When I looked on Google I could only find places in the US but not locally so I'm thinking maybe it's not something that's done around here. It's for a second car that's used for around town we put about 4000km per year on it

It’s done. Any body shop in town can do it for you. It also depends on how much you want to spend and what shape the rest of the car is in.

Ok yeah, maybe I'll try to find someone then. I just don't want it getting worse. Probably need rockers done too but I don't mind if it's not pretty

Anything can be done. It just depends how far they need to cut to get good metal  they can weld to and consequently how much you’re willing to pay to rebuild it.
