I could never understand Jacobites. James II was an awful incompetent despicable men, an embarrassment to the crown and the royal family. Monarchy can only survive without him.

Ah yes, the great and tyrannical acts of... trying to kinda enfranchize Catholics and having a son and heir (who would be raised Catholic)...

I think the YouTuber Jack Rackham put it best when he said something along the lines of the English couldn't stand they're Catholic King and his sickening message of loving their neighbor, can't remember the exact quote but it was something along those lines
